This has to the worst standard of customer service I have ever received. We Ordered some shutters back in July. Made numerous tel calls as the fitting date confirmed at the time of the order has been and gone, but we are still no further forward We have been advised that the order left on a shipping container on 03.10.21 it’s now approaching Dec and they have no idea how much longer they are going to take to arrive which is absolutely absurd. I honestly don’t know how this company is still trading they need to be reported to Trading Standards and closed down, I will be speaking to my credit card provider to arrange a chargeback and cancel the order

I the basis of my quote for 3 curtains and was told "We cannot provide customer’s with width or drop sizes as a Hillarys policy. " Why anyone would accept a quote without this information is beyond me. Avoid like the plague imo. :(

I have been trying to contact the the person that came to my house and took my order in early October I have been trying to contact him by phone & email but am unable spoke to the Call center on the 23th of November said spoke to him and he would ring me same day but did not so, phone him again no luck they said it was on noted that I want cancel the appointment and that I would be contacted by him to rearrange the appointment but if he cannot ring me how can I rearrange the appointment?

As per all the negative reviews they are all very accurate. The aftersales service is non existent they will take your money and all the staff I dealt with lie continually after that they should be ashamed to be part of a rip off organisation. Awful company to deal with. A massive thank you to barclayclard who were able to recover my funds from hillarys after 6 months of stress and upset. Please stay away from this company. They will soon be on rouge traders and hopefully cease trading.

I was interested in Plantation Shutters until I found there was a 17-22 week delay and they use a company in China to manufacture them which given the environmental impact that has is no longer acceptable. I decided not to use the company and then got a feedback call. The man was rude and aggressive and rather than discuss my concerns hung up on me. Will definitely not use them!!!

This is my first time using Hillary’s I have had the worst experience. The sales guy that came was really good until he got his sale after this he couldn’t be bothered. When he came to fit he couldn’t be bothered now today everything has fallen down my curtain the rail the guy that fitted never used wall plugs I have a hole & plaster everywhere. Hillary’s blinds is expensive which you don’t mind paying for if you get the service & your happy with the end result. I am really disappointed really unhappy I have raised as complaints but no one has come back. Definitely avoid Hillary’s there quick to get your money but when there’s a problem you won’t here from them

Do not touch this company with a barge pole!! As per all the other reviews their customer services and proactive comms are non-existent. We ordered 6 months ago and had an install date of mid September. Well that has come and gone with no comms from them on why that date was missed or what the next date is? The "customer service" team seem to there purely to rudely fob you off with vague, unclear and ultimately no firm dates or actions on next steps, although they are happy to go into detail about all their company issues, as if we actually care?!! They seem to have one fitter who is on holiday until the end of the month, but they can't access his diary. Really?!!! Great at taking money, but on execution, service and delivery - absolutely shocking!!! AVOID THESE COWBOYS LIKE THE PLAUGE!

Absolute rubbish materials, the salesman Daniel is a liar, we cancelled the order within 48 hours and they are now trying to take us to court for over £2000

Negative after Negative reviews, why on earth are these idiots still trading, somethings got to give. Yes here's another Negative review, after waiting nearly 6 months I still have no blinds or shutters, and yes I have called, and spoken with rude customer service kids, emailed with no response on numerous occasions, spoken to the fitter who quite frankly is at the end of his tether, if you're reading this and are thinking of making an order then get your wad of cash, and pop in on a bonfire at least you have any kind of control over your money. Hillarys are robbers, I will be seeking further advice.

Have now waited 4 months for delivery and have now been told it will be another 2 weeks delay, yep you guessed it covid and brexit to blame, happy to take over £1500 deposit and then keep fobbing you off with new dates, and sayind read our terms and conditions!! AVOID HILLARYS like the plague !,

Waited patiently for months for shutters to be made, then on the day of fitting nobody turned up. I took a day off work and moved stuff in the lounge ready for the fitters. Nobody even bothered to ring me to inform me that the shutters weren't ready. Hilarys took the remaining balance 2 months ago without any problems tho, yet couldn't ring me to let me know the fitting date was cancelled. Shocking service

I would give a 0 if I could!!!firstly we ordered blinds which didn’t take to long but the blinds ended up falling down as did our curtains. We ordered shutters in June and still yet to hear anything as to when these will be fitted. Coming on for 22 weeks since ordered. Blaming covid and shipping crisis which is just an excuse when other products are arriving. You phone up the company and the phone cuts off constantly. We have been fobbed of constantly with promises of phone calls back which have not happened. Thoroughly disappointed with this company and the customer service received. Avoid this company at all costs.

Borderline daylight robbery. We would give 0 if we could and sharing this review on several websites to leave others a chance to avoid this business. Door sales team gave hugely inflated prices (£1700 for one bay window curtain) alongside pressure sales tactics like "We will give you 20% off if you sign up right now and pay up front". Went with someone local instead and saved £1000 with independent professional with excellent results.

The worst service I ever had in my life!! I feel I have been robbed. - The job was supposed to take up to 5 weeks, but it was only completed after 6 months, yes 25 weeks!!! - It started very badly: several cancellations and reschedules... - Then they sent the wrong blinds (Twice!!) - For one of the rooms, we were looking for a complete blackout which was promised with a very expensive system combining blinds and curtains. Once installed, it was pretty obvious that that was not the case at all. There is a gap between the wall and the rail system holding the curtains which allows light in. This system we were sold is not really fit for purpose and we suspect that the combined system was sold just to ensure a bigger budget instead of fulfilling the needs that we had (which could probably have been achieved only with blackout curtains placed closer to the wall). - On top of that, the operating system is faulty. The rail system for the curtains is flimsy (the curtains are too heavy for the holders and can have trouble going through the connectors between rails), and got stuck several times. - Finally, when we told them that we were not satisfied with the work, they gave us less than 10% discount which is almost insulting for all the problems we faced with the installation. As a result, we still have light in our room, with a system that doesn't work well, we spent a lot of time pursing them to come and do the work and we paid a fortune for it.

Terrible Customer service and no Blinds in sight!! I have ordered with Hillarys previously and had no problem however I ordered my shutter blinds in April 2021 since then the order has been rescheduled twice with little after waiting a month of no contact I called Hillary blinds (Russell the accounts manager) they can't even give me a date to reschedule and he was rude and unprofessional on the phone. Hillarys this is terrible customer service and I will not be recommending anymore!

Measured incorrectly twice. Getting a response from them is shocking keep asking for pictures which have been sent 3 times 2months on from first fitting still trying to rectify.

DONT BOOK WITH THESE LIAR. OUR BOOKING WAS CANCELLED 1 time and today they were supposed to come, i took a day off for that, they just said: oh sorry the advisor forgot your appointment! How come an advisor can forget your appointment ??? SHAME ON YOU. I already wait 3 weeks because of your cancellation. Will gowith an other company. No way you get 1 penny from me!!!

Conservatory roof blinds fitted. Had to call back for repair to cord becoming detached. Engineer came. A month later the same blind broke again. After numerous emails and telephone calls still waiting for an engineer or call. Also the attachments for the Blinds pulled and bent the cladding on the internal roof struts and a engineer had to come and drill new fittings. I have been told they have no engineers as they are catching up on late deliveries from China. If I had know this product was made there I would not have bought them. They should stop the fancy tv advertising and concentrate on the customers the have.

What an awful experience, £2000 later taken from me blind in front room still not done 6 weeks after rest was fitted plus one room missed, I turns out wasnt on quote not that I was showed any piecework on the day. The fitter is now lying and I’m being forced to pay another £400for another blind otherwise my house won’t Match, I’ve had countless calls to there customer service who clearly have no powers to put things right. Blinds are expensive and not even great quality. Please please don’t use this incompetent company
