“The bird was very tasty indeed. It arrived inadequately packed inside the box with only a small piece of grease proof paper on it. There were many feather stubs in the skin and I pulled many out - shown as the black bots in the photo below.”

“The turkey roll itself was lovely. It would have been helpful, however, if the weight of it was shown on the joint itself. I couldn't remember the weight I'd ordered but since I only paid the basic £68 price I assumed it was 1 kg and it took a lot longer than that to cook. Sent my timings a bit awry. Other than that, great service.”

“Delivery and packaging with the herbs was excellent. I added streaky bacon on the top then removed the last half an hour. We were just a little disappointed with the flavour,, a bit bland, maybe I needed to stick the herbs and butter inside.”

“We had an issue with deliver but Zoe from Herb Fed was in it! We’ve purchased before & are looking forward to replacement order being deliver next week. Would recommend, great product!”

“Your chicken tastes like real chicken. We love it. The delivery was quite late in the day and there was no frozen block on the top, like our previous deliveries. The chicken was still cool to touch, so thought it was okay.”

“Lovely bird, succulent and has plenty of meat. Really enjoyed it, but not as herby as expected. Perhaps my uneducated pallet, however, we all agreed it was excellent and will return for more.”

“The chicken is incredibly tasty, my broth froze in jelly - it came out very rich wow !!! I bought 5 chickens and none of them had offal (heart, liver), although the site indicated that they were put.”

“We ordered what we believed was a fresh turkey for easter but when we got it home, we found it frozen solid! ( There was a separate advert for frozen birds on the Web but our web page was for fresh birds). Fortunately, we did have enough time to safely defrost it but that said, the flavour and texture were absolutely fabulous. We have tried several "premium" turkeys direct from providers over the past 10 years and we can honestly say this was definitely the most flavoursome we have ever had. It reminded us of just how turkeys used to taste. Would definitely buy from Herb Fed again, but will definitely check whether its fresh or frozen ! 5 stars.”

“As a regular customer of herb fed chicken we have always been extremely satisfied with the quality and service. Unfortunately, our review would have normally given five stars but our most recent order was delivered to the wrong address which caused us a great deal of inconvenience and time trying to track it down. Therefore, it’s four stars on this occasion.”
