“Quality of the chicken is very good ( only tried the chicken breasts, froze the rest of the order. Packaging needs to be more environmentally friendly, I get fish that is insulated in wool packaging which is useful for lots of things”

“Delicious and ethically reared chicken - I won’t buy from anywhere else now! The meat is so juicy and tasty, a world away from usual supermarket chicken.”

“I have been ordering whole chickens and chicken portions from Heb Fed for several years now and have found the quality of the chicken to be second to none, in terms of flavour and texture. More recently I have been ordering several of their butchers prepared items, such as chicken burgers, smoked chicken breasts and chicken shwarma. These are great, really tasty, quick to prepare and ideal for weekday evening meals. Their delivery is very reliable and their products always reach us in great condition.”

“Huge disappointment... I have already told you of the very poor delivery... parcel left in direct sun virtually in the village street... no attempt to go to the house door... Only discovered by accident before it would have "vanished". Then cooked for Sunday dinner... absolutely tasteless Richard”

Dear Richard, I’m very sorry to hear about the way your first order was delivered. I completely understand your frustration and this is certainly not the standard we expect from our delivery service. I will raise this with the carrier so that the circumstances of the delivery can be investigated. I'm also sorry to hear you found the chicken tasteless, this is not usually what our customers say about our chickens so we apologise you didn't feel it was tasty enough on this occasion. Thank you for letting us know, and please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused. The Herb Fed team.

“As always lovely chicken , tender and flavoursome . This time and a previous time the breasts have been smaller . The weight is all correct but I much prefer the larger chicken breasts . Keep on keeping in what you do . Your product is fantastic 😊”

“Excellent quality poultry. I've used this company initially via Costco and now as a direct customer. I usually have a bulk order and then batch cook for the month. This makes having the best quality an affordable option. Deliveries arrive extremely well packed. Highly recommended.”

“This chicken reminds me of being a young boy and eating Sunday lunch with my family. It tastes fabulous, it cooks so well and it feels like meat used to - its not stringy. We use many of the products and they always turn out the same - magnicently tasty and wholesome.”

“So far the chicken breasts that I have prepared have been tender. Also when defrosted not watery or tasteless when prepared. I have not had the opportunity to roast one of the chickens yet.”
