Very good service and quick to get an appointment at a hearing aid centre. Hearing test and consultation were excellent and very professional. Trial hearing aids were fitted and set up during the appointment and are working well. My only criticism is the price quoted for the hearing aids. Your advert states that up to 40% discount is offered on hearing aid prices but this was not the case with me. I showed the audiologist adverts on the internet of other companies offering the same services and hearing aids for over £800 cheaper. There was no offer made for price matching.

Audiologist was very experianced and knowledgeable. The resultant demonstration hearing aid was a revelation, and frankly it was quite emotional to be able to hear clearly after so many years. The final hearing aid was every bit as good (cros set-up due to total deafness in one ear) and I am sure will effect my life in a very positive way

I was referred promptly to Durham Hearing Specialists whom I found first class. I tried three different private audiologists and their knowledge and professionalism was far superior to the others. I am now considering the Unitron Moxi B7-R

It was brilliant at the beginning but I would be grateful for more follow-up from the local audiologist, as I am still having some difficulty with hearing some people even when they are close to me, and also find some of the Bernafon instructions difficult to understand.

The initial contact was excellent Booking seem less The consultatant professional , thorourgh and passed on excellent information . Now the poor bit , the aids I paid a £800+ deposit on in order to trial were faulty / didn't meet my needs . Hence had to return to return them . The alternative aids I had expressed an interest in were not available and I have a full diary for several weeks . It was agreed a refund would be forthcoming . I await a call to confirm this .

I have had the hearing device for seven months. As a "middleman" you did a good job in connecting me to a local practitioner. He and she were attentive and helpful, I couldn't and didn't, ask for more. The hearing aid itself is better than I could get on the NHS but it isn't perfect. It does allow me to join-in two and three-way conversations that I had stopped trying to do. The device does more than I want or need. I am 84 and male. A disappointing choice on the "menu" is the "Rain" function; it doesn't diminish the sound, it increases it to gale force ten that drowns-out all else. The restaurant setting doesn't reduce the background noise. Impact noises are magnified out of proportion; I will hear a pin drop but not hear a quiet voice. It make what was impossible, possible but it isn't the real thing. That is something gone for ever methinks. This is, currently, the next best thing.

Great service, booking & arrangement for the home visit hearing test was effortless. The audiologist was very helpful and recommended the best hearing aids based on the degree of my hearing loss. Thank you once again David Quilliam.

Fine to have the hearing test which seemed to cover all the points. Helpful to have a home visit but the quieter surroundings were no help in getting a good test of aids. Felt pressured into choosing a recommended manufacturer or a limited selection.
