“I had a very thorough test yesterday with the audiologist in Richmond. I was suitably impressed and have ordered a new pair of hearing aids. I would like to comment that their diary management could have been a little better as I was seen 15 minutes late and was almost late for work. Please try to see me on time next time!”

You lost a star as the Graham the audiologist was meant to call me back within an hour to book me in whereas it was actually his receptionist calling after three hours, though I do understand that he was busy with other people.”

“The website and guide I found to both be very helpful as I had been for a number of hearing tests and been told a number of different hearing aids would be the best for me. All as it turned out by people who had a vested interest in a particular product that they promoted. I will be coming to see you for a hearing test as soon as I have time to get a proper independent view which is what you seem to offer. In future it would be helpful if you could put a map on your website so that I can see where the nearest shop is.”

Your guide was very enlightening and I have decided to ask for an NHS test before I proceed further. Your service appears more objective and informative so I may very well come back to you.”

However the guide does not explain the technologies or their limitations ( for instance the highest frequency Aides can amplify); does not adequately cover the price ranges and does not explain which products are suitable for age related issues such as rapid fall off above 5 or 6 kilohertz.”
