I have not spoken to anyone I had a email with suggested dates picked one but I haven't received any confirmation

After reading the really promising consumer guide I attempted to have a session with one of the audiologists. There was no local audiologist in the Eastbourne area and so after a while I was contacted for a home visit to take place the following week. Ten minutes before my home appointment was due to take place it was cancelled (for personal reasons) and apparently their audiologist covering my area is now not able to take on new customers until 2024. The alternative offered was over an hours drive away. I may just have been unlucky, and I totally understand that somebody may be unavailable at short notice, but it appears that Hearing Aid UK just do not have enough practices signed up to provide the coverage and ongoing support they claim will be available from them.

We are sorry that we were unable to assist you with your hearing. As you say, the audiologist was indeed called home when he was almost at your appointment and this must have been very inconvenient for you. As his stepdaughter was badly hurt and will require some care, he decided that he would not take on any new customers before Christmas, which I agree does mean it would have been 2024 before you were seen. However, regarding coverage, you are incorrect. This audiologist is in the Brighton area, about 20 miles away, which is a normal and reasonable distance for them to support. We cover 98% of the country but there are a few areas we don't reach - If any good independent audiologists in Margate or Mablethorple are reading this, get in touch! hearing tests were carried out and promised to be sent to me, nothing was ever received. I was more interested in ITE hearing aids but the audiologist seemed intend on trying to sell me BTE aids , it never seemed to progress from there.

Hello Mr Heil, Sorry that you were disappointed with how the assessment went. As your audiologist Louise explained, the style of hearing aid that you wanted, unfortunately, doesn't suit your type of hearing loss at all and we cannot prescribe something that would be audiologically incorrect. You were offered the option of having some suitable aids on a free trial basis for a week but you declined. My enquiry to you was passed onto David Qulliam. Not answered to date and no other contact or magazine sent. Aid fantastic but no service since. purchase in September 2020

"Hello, Mr Greenhalgh, I have gone through your case notes and spoken to your audiologist Mr Quilliam. When he last saw you, he said that you appeared to be very happy with how you were hearing and your review seems to confirm this. This was at a follow-up service appointment after your hearing aids had been fitted. Since then we have not had any contact from you, nor has Mr Quilliam. If you want to book a service appointment then please call Mr Quilliam directly or if you have lost his details then just give us a call at head office on 0800 567 7621. Usually, we would have followed up with you six months later whether we heard back from you or not, just to make sure you were getting on OK, however, the pandemic happened and the official guidance was for us to respond to service requests but not to actively contact people to book them in, in order to minimise contact with vulnerable people. With regard to the part where you say "Not answered to date and no other contact or magazine sent.", I am not too sure what you mean here as we have no magazines to send out, that is not something we offer, so I wonder if it might have been a different company that you asked for a magazine?" I returned my hearing aids within the 60 day trial period as they did not prove to be at all satisfactory - they kept falling out. I was told that I would receive my money back (almost £3,000) immediately. It is now 2 months later and I have still not received my money nor have I been able to speak to anyone with any authority to authorise my refund.

I believe that you have us confused with a different company, we currently have no customers waiting for refunds, nor would we behave in such a manner. I downloaded a copy of the company's products and guide, then sent a question to the company by email inquiring about a certain type of hearing aid. I received no reply. I'm not impressed.

I have rung twice over a period of about 4 weeks and no contact wonder what the back up service is like if you cannot even arrange an appointment to buy
