“Lovely long-lasting flowers but the delivery was disappointing. I selected the delivery date as the day before I needed the flowers 'just in case' as I was planning on hand-delivering them. The flowers were not here at 4:30pm on the selected delivery date, so I rang customer service who advised to allow until 7:30pm for the delivery, at which point they still had not arrived and customer service was now shut. I rang again in the morning and customer service advised that the flowers were due to be delivered between 9:20am and 10:20am, but I was supposed to be hand delivering the flowers at 10am. Therefore I asked for a refund so that I could go to a local florists instead. Unfortunately I was told that they would only refund the price of the delivery as it states in the terms and conditions that the flowers may be delivered up to 3 days after the selected delivery date - sorry but this just is not good enough and more importantly, why is this in the terms and conditions which nobody reads, and not in bold red writing on the website as you're selecting the delivery date???? and why did customer service tell me to wait until 7:30pm for the delivery, then the following day the same girl was able to track the delivery and tell me that it was scheduled for 9:20-10:20am? why could she not have told me the first time I called that they were not in fact even scheduled for delivery for the delivery date which I had selected? and why could she track the parcel but I had not received any tracking information? just not good enough.”
