Boots are comfy and fine for walking dogs in damp conditions. But they are not waterproof, my socks were soaked after walking dogs in the rain (can't seem to unload photo on the phone). So back to wellies when the weather is bad unfortunately.

ONLY 2 WIDE FIT BOOT VERSIONS, NO WIDE FIT SHOES. MERINO SOCKS ARE VERY COMFORTABLE, BUT UNLESS I HAVE BEEN UNLUCKY, POORLY MADE. HEELS GO QUICKLY.

Very nice boots, very comfortable and easy to use. This is if I live in Spain or Italy. Everything was very nice walk and walk until it rained, and it was a bad experience. In England, it rains a lot as we all know. The membrane may be good for a Mediterranean country like Italy and others. Unfortunately for this country it is not good, I am very sorry but it seems that I will have boots for a different country. Feet wet in one boot much more than in the other, maybe my boots are flawed.

Nothing wrong with the product or the delivery time BUT a lot wrong with your online ordering process. I ordered my shoes from Grisport to be sent from the UK to Spain. Just before delivery the Spanish courier company demanded €19 in taxes and delivery charges - otherwise no delivery!! At no stage during the online ordering process was I informed this would happen. I regard this as tantamount to FRAUD. Be warned!!

Thank you for your review. Clearly on our site, in our delivery terms we specify that duties or import fees can occur when buying from outside of Europe and are imposed by the courier and not ourselves. Unfortunately when your order was placed, due to Brexit, these fees we not able to be absorbed by us. This was certainly not fraudulent but we do hope hope this does not effect your shopping patterns with us in the future. Kind regards Grisport UK

I bought Icarus walking shoes in May 2930. They were really comfortable and I wore them straight away without getting blisters, which is unknown for me, and I was delighted with them. BUT, in July, the lining in one shoe started to come apart, and by September the same happened to the other. This has never happened to me before. I contacted Grisport just before New Year 2021, then again. I have had no response. Now the stitching on the toe caps is coming apart. I have walked almost entirely in London, on pavement, level grass and parkland paths which are often muddy. My last pair of walking shoes lasted 5-6 years. I am very disappointed with the shoes and the customer service.

Original order placed for a pair of Avenger boots On 6th December @ £88 in black Friday sale this order was refunded as no stock. Reordered same boots on 8th December @ £93 With a 15% discount ! Advised on the 10th that they would be arriving the next week, boots actually despatched on 6th January with no walking pack as per order and the boots are now £88 again on the website. No answer to my emails asking when I would recieve the boots either, poor customer service at best for a repeat customer

I was disappointed in the Modena men's walking shoe which was delivered. Despite the “Cambrelle lining” I found the inside of the shoe harsh and uncomfortable. The greatest surprise however was the sole, which was almost completely inflexible. This made walking in the shoes uncomfortable and meant my foot tended to ‘slip’ on the heel. I am an admirer of Italian-built shoes – in particular “Lomer” shoes, of which I have had several pairs - and had expected a better experience than this.

Bought a pair of Ranger boots in an 8 before Christmas. Excellent quality boots but loose in the heel and cut across the top of my toe joints. Great shame- just too narrow at the front for me.

Hi The shoes are comfortable to wear but they are already starting to deteriorate only after a couple of month. I do rotate my shoes to leave them dry.

Pleased with fitting and comfort. However I had a fall as I slipped in them and am not confident now with the gripping sole.

My right ankle has been aching each time I use the boots and I've just noticed the right boot is deformed, when compared to the left. I will return for an exchange and review again. Left boot is excellent!

I bought a pair of Grisport walking shoes. Unfortunately they are uncomfortable and the laces are not long enough..

The left boot - feels like a slipper The right boot -AGONY! There is a solid lump of ? over my 5th metatarsal head which is refusing to give way despite silicone dressing to my foot and 2 pairs of socks. See below for photo

Tried returning a pair of the ‘Director’ boot back but they just sent them back saying they had been worn. I had only walked around my garden in them to test them out. Have tried sending back a second time so we’ll see what they say.

Hello Tom, In regards to your review. We cannot accept boots and shoes back to us for a refund that have been worn outdoors. And even more so when they are not as expected and with no fault to them. It is your responsibility to try the product on indoors before being relied on outdoors. Grisport UK

Very pleased, at first, with my boots but with continual use, they've proved NOT to be waterproof. I've layered up with thin layers of wax but they let in with the creases on the leather. Think the leather layer isn't thick enough. Not fit for what I wanted. Could say they weren't that expensive - suppose you get what you pay for. Disappointing.

The left boot is really rubbing my ankle bone, the right boot is absolutely fine.

Well, I am still waiting for my order, and I sent a email to customer service to change the size of my boots and I never heard back. So I have no idea the status of my order or if the size was able to be changed.

Hello Rich, Thank you for leaving your review. To clarify - your order left our premises on the 3rd January heading to Florida USA. Prior it leaving we just managed to changed the sizes for you as your email was sent to another department and we received it the same day your parcel was dispatched. We confirmed the size change to you via email and this was sent 3rd January 08:51. As we were predominantly closed over the Christmas period then your order which was placed on the 28th December could not have been sent any sooner as our international courier pick up service was not available until our reopening on the 3rd January. Currently your parcel is with USPS in New York and I have imputed your email and you should receive updates to where the parcel is and when to expect a delivery. It looks like the email we sent you was not received but I hope you manage to receive this reply as it will give you the clarity you were looking for. Kind regards, Gavin Cole Grisport UK.

Your assertion that the inclusion of some sort of "free pack" was worth £30.00 and subsequently £50.00 was nonsense. The overall value of the boots and addition was not the value and worth to me that I had contracted for. I am returning them for a refund.
