"Aztec Crazy Horse Walking Boots \u2013 750km Tested Review\r\n\r\nI bought my Aztec Crazy Horse Walking Boots in mid-February 2025. Out of the box, they were quite stiff and a little uncomfortable, but after some time and miles, they gradually softened up. Now, they\u2019re the most comfortable leather boots I\u2019ve ever owned.\r\n\r\nThey are a bit heavier than the equivalent fabric walking boots, but they feel incredibly hard-wearing\u2014built to last. For comparison, I\u2019ve owned other, lighter fabric boots that were just as comfortable, like my Scarpa Mistral GTXs, which managed an impressive 1500km before finally coming apart. Based on my experience so far, I have a feeling the Aztecs are going to surpass that.\r\n\r\nSince purchasing them, I\u2019ve walked over 750km, and they still look pretty good. I\u2019ll probably treat the leather soon to help extend their life even further. I walk just over 2000km a year and I'm hoping these last into 2026.\r\n\r\nOverall, I\u2019m really pleased\u2014these boots are tough, comfortable, and seem likely to go the distance. I\u2019d give them a solid 9 out of 10."

"Was looking for a new walking boot. I wanted a high boot for ankle support. Found these Grisport boots which have been ideal for my needs. They are light weight and comfortable out of the box. The quick lase system makes them easy to get on and off. The boots are high which gives ankle support and projection when walking through long grass or bracken. They look stylish and are practical. I've worn them on a couple of easy walks with no problems. I'm very happy to recommend these boots and would not hesitate to buy these as a replacement when the time comes. I ordered these direct from Grisport in the UK. They were on sale and also got a first order discount so happy with the price. Ordering\/Delivery was quick and simple. They also came with a free gift. "

"I've had Grisport walking shoes before, comfort straight out of the box, my size 5 walking shoes have given great service although no longer keep my feet dry. So, time to replace, I thought I could just order Size 5 again and head straight out in them. I chose Lady Anaheim walking boot, ordered gel insoles and protective spray and qualified for the free walking pack.\r\nSize 5 did not fit this time, too tight round my toes, I couldn't slide the size 5\/6 insole into the boot either. I compared the sole of the new boots to the sole of my walking shoes, the new boots are shorter than the old shoes and significantly narrower. I sent them back for replacement with Size 6 but kept the walking pack as I was expecting a replacement. Meanwhile, the walking trip I wanted boots for, was underway. I spotted a pair of Grisport leather walking boots in a cobblers shop in a Yorkshire village, tried them on (size 5), wriggled my toes, bought them and left the shop with them on.\r\nMeanwhile, the replacement boots were out of stock, I was issued a refund minus the cost of the walking pack without being offered the opportunity to return it."

"BOLZANO BOOTS SHORT TERM REVIEW. \r\nApprox 3 weeks of daily use, about 70 miles. Mixture of tarmac, fields & short rocky fell walk. Boots & socks are quality, easily the most comfortable I've ever owned. Production quality seems high, but can't comment on long term robustness yet. Treated with the waterproof spray & worked perfectly on a submerged cave wander.\r\n\r\nMy purchase: Bolzano boots, waterproof spray, nubuck brush & Merino trekking socks. Deal included P&P, bootbag, socks & spare laces.\r\n*Serious value for money and I would definitely recommend. Although as mentioned above I can't yet give a long term review. "
