“I have great difficulty in finding boots and shoes to fit as I have a wide foot, high instep and narrow ankle. To compensate I generally wear a sock liner to reduce moisture beneath an outer walking sock. I usually take a size 43 2E/4E shoe fitting, so I ordered both the 43 & 44 wide fit Aztec to try on. The 44 was still a little too snug so I returned both pairs. I was so impressed with the delivery service and refund procedure, that I thought I'd re-order a 45 which again arrived promptly & efficiently. Having worn them around the house for an hour or two I found the fit to be generous but corrected any movement on the heel with an orthaheel arch & heel support. I then took the boots on a 7 mile walk with a long incline uphill and a steepish descent which in places was a little damp and muddy underfoot. Verdict - I really like the comfort and give yet appreciated the support provided by the vibram sole on uneven ground. In fact at times, the boots felt like a pair of carpet slippers, with no rubbing, bruising or blisters and at the end of the three hour hike I was ready to do another one. When I got home the leather uppers boots cleaned up a treat without the hassle of a fabric nubuck version. I'm really impressed by the general spec and quality for a pair of boots that remarkably came in well under £100 with discount. Boots of a similar spec and quality seem to cost at least double the price. Now I have found my correct size fitting, I would be happy to order another pair”

“I ordered a pair of Grisport walking boots online. Unfortunately when they arrived there was a small mark on one of them which I took as just being a production blemish. But I thought I'd ring and confirm this with Grisport. I rang their customer service number which was easily found on their website. Unlike many companies which appear to hide such numbers in some way out corner of their website. Grisport phone was answered promptly by a very pleasant and knowledgeable employee by the name of Gavin Cole.. I explained my concern to him, he suggested I take a couple of photos and email them across to him. Which I did. Within an hour he had responded to my email and confirmed that yes it was just a small production blemish and assured me that it would have no performance or quality effect on my new boots. But suggested if I profered he would send me out a new pair that day to replace them. And I could return the one's I have using the supplied Post Office pre paid return slip.. I decided to accept his offer of a replacement pair of boots. The new boots arrived the very next day via DPD delivery service's who again kept me informed as to my exact delivery time slot. My impression of Grisport and especially their customer service manager Gavin Cole is of a company that are very proud of their Italian made products and want their customers to feel they have purchased a quality product from a company that actually care about their customers. Which is something other companies could learn from.”

“My purchase of a pair of walking boots was one of the easiest and fastest items I have ever bought. The purchase complete with free delivery and returns, delivered the next day is awesome! The free delivery and returns are such an attraction to purchase particularly when buying footwear. As for boots they one of the most comfortable boots I have owned straight out of the box. Time will be the factor regarding their durability, however I am confident they will last well. Well done Grisport for providing such an efficient and rapid service, other companies could do well to learn how it can be done!”

“Ordered my shoes at 1355 one day arrived 1345 the next. Well made sturdy shoes still breaking them in. I have also ,over the years, bought two pairs of walking boots , one pair of which are about 12 years old and still usable although the leather is a bit cracked now so only used on dry days .!”

“Excellent service ordered walking boots one day and they arrived the next !! Got the Aztec crazy horse walking boots because I need a wide fit and have struggled with other boots. Straight from the start they felt comfortable and so far so good. Definitely worth a 5 Star rating.”
