“Very happy. I am not a an intrepid rambler - just enjoy walking my dogs. I have worn a pair of Grisport ‘approach shoes’ for a number of years and they are fantastic in terms of comfort - out of the box - and, unlike modern materials, the leather keeps my feet dry in wet grass. My latest purchase is the Windermere boot, again comfortable from first wear. It remains to be seen if they are as durable as the shoes but first impressions are positive.”

“Excellent product & service again from Grisport; this being my third pair of shoes/boots. Although I only walk 5 -15 miles a week, I have always found their footwear offers my feet the perfect balance between the hard chalk/flint up on the South Downs & the often wet grassland of the Low Weald. Also very helpful staff answered my online order query over the phone.”

“I wore these boots on a 4 mile break-in walk and was very impressed with their comfort. The soles are very well cushioned. Have since walked in them several times and they are a pleasure to wear. I just needed to get the lace tension right for best comfort across the top.”

“4stars, only because my first order was not in stock but payment was confirmed etc. etc. so I was expecting them to be delivered but they couldn’t be. I was refunded for this fist choice and then went on to chose a different pair of boots which were delivered promptly and have been great so far, thank you”

“After a minor administrative glitch placing the order, which the sales team speedily resolved, I received my boots the next day after ordering, so excellent service. The boots appear well made, are good looking and were comfortable straight from the box. Having worn them for a few miles now, they remain ideal and I'm very satisfied with them. In addition, my wife also recently bought a pair and is equally happy with her purchase. In conclusion, a good company to do business with and highly recommended.”

“I bought a pair of Exmoor shoes. I am really impressed with how comfortable they are and how well-made. The gift pack of socks (which are also very comfy) gaiters and spare laces was much appreciated. Everything arrived in good time and I am delighted. I would definitely buy from here again. I was worried because I have very high insteps and narrow heels, but these shoes were comfortable from Day 1.”

“I found a pair of Everest shoes in my size and they fitted perfectly. (this does not often happen) I thought that I would buy a 2nd pair so I ordered them from Grisport. Initially they were not in stock. I had the option of leaving an email address so that Grisport could let me know when they were in stock again. About 3 weeks later I got an email telling me that they were now back in stock so I ordered a pair. They arrived within about 4 days together with 2 kind gifts. Excellent service!”

“Wishing to replace an existing and much loved pair of Wolf navy Trekking boots from Grisport, I was disappointed to find that they were out of stock. However, I kept faith with their promise to advise when available. Yes, a longish wait, but I suspect a lot to do with Brexit and covid rather than any fault of Grisport. I was not let down and the boots are now in my possession. I cannot fault these boots. They are very sturdy, but comfortable and quite lightweight and support my foot very well. I use them for dog walking, gardening and walking over rough terrain. Obviously, would not wade through a stream with them, but for wet grass and boggy ground, I have found them to keep my feet dry. I love these boots and hope that Grisport continue to stock them for many years to come. For the price, I think that they are great value for money. The free accessory pack was a lovely surprise.”

“I have great difficulty in finding boots and shoes to fit as I have a wide foot, high instep and narrow ankle. To compensate I generally wear a sock liner to reduce moisture beneath an outer walking sock. I usually take a size 43 2E/4E shoe fitting, so I ordered both the 43 & 44 wide fit Aztec to try on. The 44 was still a little too snug so I returned both pairs. I was so impressed with the delivery service and refund procedure, that I thought I'd re-order a 45 which again arrived promptly & efficiently. Having worn them around the house for an hour or two I found the fit to be generous but corrected any movement on the heel with an orthaheel arch & heel support. I then took the boots on a 7 mile walk with a long incline uphill and a steepish descent which in places was a little damp and muddy underfoot. Verdict - I really like the comfort and give yet appreciated the support provided by the vibram sole on uneven ground. In fact at times, the boots felt like a pair of carpet slippers, with no rubbing, bruising or blisters and at the end of the three hour hike I was ready to do another one. When I got home the leather uppers boots cleaned up a treat without the hassle of a fabric nubuck version. I'm really impressed by the general spec and quality for a pair of boots that remarkably came in well under £100 with discount. Boots of a similar spec and quality seem to cost at least double the price. Now I have found my correct size fitting, I would be happy to order another pair”
