“Comfy straight out of the box. True to size, supple leather and decent traction on the grip. Only been on a couple of steady walks in the dry, so far so good, time will be the true test.”

“Arrived without a problem and boots fitted perfectly. Size 42, UK 8. Was a bit apprehensive thinking should I order size larger but as they are leather they should stretch to your feet naturally. They are very well made and have had no quality issues.”

“I bought my blue walking shoes because I saw them described as being too wide by a Grisport customer. Because my feet are wide I bought a pair and have been so satisfied that a month or so afterwards I bought a second pair in the same model to be sure I was well supplied with walking shoes as I walk virtually every day. My other half had bought a pair of walking boots some six months earlier and said they were the best boots he had ever had, so I had a good introduction to Grisport. The delivery was speedy too. I am absolutely delighted.”

“I have purchased no other brands apart from Grisport for over a decade and I much prefer dealing with the company directly. The fit is usually good for my slightly wide feet and you have easy means of exchanging for different size if not so. The customer service is very responsive to emails which is a bonus as some companies are lacking in email support.”

“I am very happy with the quality and style of my boots, however, I cannot comment on their durability as I have not worn them yet. The response from customers services was excellent and I would definitely recommend Grisport.”

“Grisport make very comfortable walking shoes. They don't need wearing in and they are value for money. If you need orthotic insoles the Grisport styles I have owned all allow you to remove the insole and replace it with your own. I've had 4 pairs in different styles and I've loved them all.”

“I bought my 3rd pair of dartmoor walking shoes from grisport. Putting on pair No3 was exactly the same as my first pair and just as comfortable as the old shoe they replaced, wonderful buy. I don't normally recommend anything but grisport shoes I most certainly will make the exception. Tom carroll”

“As someone new to hillwalking, and having had boots from another supplier that were not good, my husband persuaded me to get a pair of Grisport boots. OMG - they were so comfy and despite my first walk being 7 hours (up a very steep munro) in hot weather, my feet were in great condition when I had finished. Cannot recommend them highly enough.”
