“I have been looking for a Greenhouse for a couple of weeks going round all of the local garden centres and greenhouse centres also on the internet finally I found that the best deal was with Greenhouse stores thetfor I ordered my 8ft by 6ft geenhouse it was delivered on time possible a couple of days early this was first class delivery and they came on time not hours late but on time”

“Ordering process was easy and i was contacted y the supplier to explain that there would be a delay in delivery due to a delay in the supply of the base. there was a further delay due to a problem with the carrier (lorry broke down). None of these can be blamed on Greenhouse Stores. The greenhouse itself was easy to erect with straightforward, well illustrated instructions and is a solid structure. Likewise with the staging etc which i ordered along with it. Only issue was that it was not clear on the website that the folding staging and shelf which came as part of the 'starter kit' could only be fitted in the centre of the end or side. i had intended to fit them both at the end of one side, so had to re-organise my plans to incorporate them. This could be clarified in the description. Overall, i am very pleased with the greenhouse and look forward to enjoying its use.”

“A number of issues arose whilst constructing the greenhouse which was possibly during the manufacture and packaging rather than attribute blame to Greenhouse stores who sell the product. The issues were that two pieces required to construct the rear apex frame were the same number (same angle) so unable to complete the A frame.(due to packaging at the manufacturer??) Secondly i had problems with the self tapping screws to construct the door (to long and snapped in frame) I contacted greenhouse stores on both occasions and the female who answered the call could not have been more helpful. Replacement parts were sent and received the following day, Excellent customer service. I have no issues to raise with Greenhouse store and would recommend to family and friends given the after sales service i received. A big thank you to the female who took my call on both occassions and dealt with the issues promply”

“Very helpful and friendly customer support when contacted, but very slow delivery of greenhouse. No indication on the website that greenhouses are ordered from other company to be delivered by them. Took around 3 weeks, despite being a very popular greenhouse. Was also told that no signature would be required on delivery (I was at work). Fortunately I made it home for delivery, as a signature absolutely WAS required. Not great!”

“Erection of the greenhouse was a bit fiddly to be honest, and as it was being placed in an enclosed corner of the garden, some of the operations required all round access which made it tight. That said, I'm pleased with the finished product.”

“Several components were missing and one whole pack of glass was broken. Whilst the staff were helpful things weren't sorted out that quickly and it took nearly a month to be able to finish erecting the greenhouse after the initial delivery. And nearly three months later I am STILL waiting for the promised free louvre window.”

“I bought the greenhouse online and it was delivered promptly in December. Due to the time of year I stored the numerous boxes in my garage and waited for warmer weather. When that day came I discovered to my horror that all the glass panels were smashed. I contacted Greenhouse Stores who put me straight on to the wholesaler, Eden Hall Greenhouses. They did agree to replace the glass but as I'd not inspected it immediately upon delivery I was forced to pay for replacements. They did agree to charge me the cost price and deliver it for free, but it still added a fair amount onto the original price. Upon assembly it was clear the instructions were very poorly laid out and provided no real detail other than for the almost useless diagrams. I decided not to use them in the end and fumbled my way through.”

“Greenhouse came quicker than expected. Driver had problems getting his cart with glass on up the kirb,also left the packs of glass lying flat and when we read instructions it said not to lie glass flat, but he was a nice friendly guy. Instructions for assembling the greenhouse were a total nightmare,lots of taking apart and rearranging pieces. But once together, very pleased with our greenhouse.”

“OK as this is the second request for a review, I will just say that it has been a month today (1st July) since I ordered the 500 litre outside storage box and I haven't received it yet, or been contacted by the company to arrange delivery. To be fair when I ordered it the website said the delivery would be in July, though confusingly the e-mail confirmation I received from the company on the 1st June said the delivery would be within 21 working days (1st July is 22 working days for Mon-Fri working). That's why I can't understand the two requests for a review before the item has been delivered. Since there is no allowance for a rating to take account of the circumstances I have given "Very Poor" and "0" ratings. When I receive the item that may change! Update 1st July (later on): was phoned immediately by company when they saw this review, in which I was told that they would phone me tomorrow or the next day to arrange delivery. Also received e-mail same day with an admission (though no apology) that they got the delivery date wrong in their original e-mail and asking me to revise my original rating, which would have been "not applicable" if it were present. Am impressed by their concern about their image and have suggested a few points (the above and one or two others not mentioned here) where they could improve. Depending on how they respond, my ratings might again change from current values (now "Average", originally "Very Poor"; and 3, originally 0).”
