“Quickly becoming a favourite for our fussy dog as she gets older. She's a lazy/delicate whippet so had started to pass up on the harder to eat chews - puzzles, skin etc. But we needed something long lasting for her enjoyment and also to keep her teeth clean. The treats I get from here are more chewy than rock hard, and are quite smelly from the start. Perfect for a fussy dog that doesn't want to chew on something that's too hard, and less of a worry for me that as she won't break her teeth! The beef hearts are a particular favourite, very smelly, but they make her very happy! Ordering and delivery were quick and easy too.”

“I buy the jute bones for my dog to destroy. She chomps through about one a week. Tug toy rope didn't last 2m so that's in the destruction pile now too. Extra star for eco-friendliness.”

“Interesting and unusual products as well as very courteous, generous and supportive customer service. Our elderly dog was not impressed with a chew I purchased so they are very kindly replacing it with another. I would have given 5 stars but I am a bit sceptical of the insect protein products offered for dogs. I know we are all supposed to be eating insects in the future and I may be wrong but I think only birds have the enzymes to digest insect proteins. If I am wrong, count this as 5 stars.”

According to research and many different sources, yes, dogs can digest insect protein. Being omnivores, dogs can very easily digest this protein source with it's many essential amino acids. “I’ve always received such great service from Green & Wilds. My dogs love their eco friendly toys & the Yak chews too. The chew root has really helped my puppy show no interest in my furniture thus far! The puppy chew it’s are a big hit too!”

“Have loved and trusted G&W for years. Always excellent quality whether receiving their Eco toys or treats and they regularly update their range (I do wish they would bring back the hessian ring though!) Being able to buy both British and ethical, sustainable products is fantastic. Their staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.”
