So I ordered 2 items - pheasant sticks & cornish fishcakes. When I opened the envelope the pheasant sticks were all out of the pack as it wasn't sealed correctly. Shame because I was going to order more but won't if this is the standard of service Edit - I have been sent a replacement and am now content that they are very conscious of keeping customers happy-go-lucky

Hi Tanya We are sorry to hear there was an issue with the seal of the Pheasant Chews. Out of the thousands of packets of chews we have sold, we have not received feedback of this nature before, and we can reassure you that this is not our standard service. We pride ourselves on our customer service and will always do our best to rectify any issues if we are made aware. We will contact you privately. Kind regards The G&W Team

My dog absolutely loves the eco toys, they're his favourite and I'll definitely keep repuchasing. They lasted ages with his little puppy teeth, but now that he's got larger teeth he can get thinner pieces (ears/antlers) off in a few minutes. Of course they're not advertised as indestructible, so that's fine, just confirms that they do need supervision as said on the website. The only reason for 4 stars is that the rope bits on some of the eco toys unravel straight away. We had to cut them off to stop our pup eating the string as soon as we got it really. If your dog is a chewer I'd pick toys with fewer rope extremities. The main body of the toy lasts a long time so far, we've had his for months!

No toy stands a chance with Teasel, our 12 month old Lagotto Romagnolo. She destroys everything and pulls the stuffing out but it was well made and clearly a good toy whilst it lasts. Photos on day 1 and day 4, doing better than most have!

Sorry, you are asking too early. I have not started to use the 3 items I bought yet. Based on usage of one previous packet my dog loved the vegan treats.

I have order these goods. My dog loves the meat sticks. Unfortunately it is too early for me to have an opinion about the powder.

The products are excellent. It's the delivery could be better, which is down to the post office.

Great company but wild boar chews so far are of no interest to my dog. Not sure why these don't appeal.

Really love the ideas behind G&W, and many of the products are genuinely great, like dog food treats and supplements, as well as the naturals chews (olive wood stick, chew root, antler). Sadly where it is quite a mixed bag for me are the toys - some have been great and have lasted ages (eg, donut); others lasted barely 10 mins (eg, banana). I think my lab pup is quite the active chewer so the toys are just not suitable, or she wants to eat them and that’s just not good (tried playing with toys to show her they’re not for eating but she still ate a small chunk). Great company, just a bit of trial and error, and animal habits depending.

Great products , our dog is very allergic and these treats suit her . Only down side they are very good but much more expensive when compared to similar products .

Love the ethics of your product. Wishing half hour of Stan getting his toy the legs had unravelled however he's loving his toy that looks more octopus like now. Hopefully the unravel won't continue too quickly!

I bought 5 toys from G&W. Crab, Duck, Mouse, Crocodile and the Silver Fish. Lovely toys! They are all well made apart from what might be a design fault on the duck. The head flew off when my dog was shaking it. It came clean off as the rope centre came apart and the fibres just slid out from the centre. I have a leather needle so spent some time re-attaching the head, but it was a wee bit dissapointing as my dog had only shaken it once. The other toys are great, and I am so glad to be providing him with more eco friendly toys.

I think the product is second to non but please, please make an unscented version. I have to add water to all of your products because the scent is so, so strong for my flat nose Shih Tzu

Hi Jacqueline Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review and it's fantastic to hear that you think our products are second to none. We are very sorry to hear you find the scent of these products strong. The smell is the natural smell of these products due to what they are composed of. The Beef Hearties, Wild Boar Chews and Baaa Baa Chews are all 100% meat based and naturally air dried to retain their goodness. Because they are not heavily processed and we don't use any artificial ingredients or preservatives, they will have a smell to them. Unfortunately, it would not be possible to remove the smell unless they were heavily processed (which would also take away much of their goodness) Adding artificial ingredients to mask the smell would go against our ethos of creating natural products with no artificial ingredients or additives. We would be more than happy to recommend many alternative products with less odour that your Shih Tzu may enjoy. The Green&Wild's Team

This looked good and I hoped being leather it would be tough but unfortunately Dexter managed to completely destroy it in under 30 minutes. However Green and Wilds contacted me following this review and sent Dexter a tougher donut toy to play with. He loves it and G&W were very quick to respond and super helpful.

Hi Karen We are really sorry to hear that your recent purchase didn't meet your expectations and it sounds like Dexter had 30 minutes of great fun. Some dogs do see our eco toys as a challenge and decide to chew or destroy them over playing with them, this can be down to the natural materials over harder to destroy plastic/man made fibres. Whilst leather is generally hardwearing, it is unfortunately, not indestructible. The stuffing is composed of natural materials so not to cause any harm if chewed. We pride ourselves on our customer service and wish for all of our customers to be satisfied with their G&W experience. We will reach out to you via email. The Green & Wild's Team.

Lovely toys. Unfortunately, my Lab chomped and fileted the toy's stuffing within hours.

Hi Barbara Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that your eco toy purchase hasn't met your expectations. Many dogs do see our eco toys as a way of fulfilling their natural chewing instincts or as a challenge to destroy over playing with them. This can be down to the natural materials used in the toys' composition, over harder manmade plastic or synthetic fabrics. Our eco toys provide a safer option for dogs that do chew/destroy their toys, by containing no harmful materials or compounds. We can recommend alternatives from the range that would be more suitable and durable for Labradors. The Green&Wild's Team.

Hi Thank you for your review. It's great to hear that your dog loves their G&W Eco Toys. A lot of thought goes in to the Eco Toy designs and to make them as durable as possible. Some dogs do see our toys as a challenge and prefer to chew them over playing with them, this can be due to the natural materials used in the composition, over harder to destroy plastic. We don't use any harmful compounds or synthetic stuffing due to the fact some dogs may use the toys to alleviate teething pain or to fulfil their natural chewing instincts. We would be more than happy to advise which of the Eco Toy range may be more suitable for your dog if you would like to get in touch but as a starting point, Derrick the Donut, Stanley the Starfish and Your'e Toast are of a thicker composition which some dogs find more of a challenge to destroy/chew. We hope your dog continues to have fun with their Eco Toys The Green&Wild's Team.

Salmon oil good quality but not keen on the plastic bottle

Hi Caroline Thank you for leaving a review. Unfortunately our previous supplier discontinued the metal bottles. We tried hard to find an alternative supplier and bottle that is both eco friendly and suitable for storing the oil, but we could not source suitable metal containers, so we switched over to fully recycled plastic bottles. We do our very best with our packaging, it can be challenging when food products have to be kept fresh. We have tried to reduce our carbon footprint to compensate for the change in packaging and our new, but still same great quality, Salmon Oil is now sourced from Scottish Salmon rather than Icelandic Salmon, which has also meant we have been able to offer it in two different sizes and pass the savings on, by lowering the retail price!
