“We chose Glowgreen over Octopus and never looked back, the customer focus which was outstanding. We had amazing Gentleman Mr Nicholas Fox he was our go to guy and he guide us through every step, always genuinely happy to help us with any questions or queries. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything about our experience was great, from the Scaffolding guys to the installers, they all played a part in our Glowgreen experience. “I had a very poor experience with Glow Green during the installation of a solar PV system at my home. The process was mismanaged from the start and has left me with significant property damage and serious concerns about regulatory compliance. The initial scaffolding crew damaged two roof tiles and then left without completing the rear installation, claiming the roof was too delicate. A second crew eventually came, admitted to breaking over 10 tiles, and promised to replace them—but that never happened. When I contacted Glow Green with photographic evidence, I was told they wouldn’t repair the damage, citing a clause in their terms about “cosmetic damage.” Broken roof tiles are not cosmetic—they leave the roof vulnerable to leaks. Even worse, I was later informed that the system had been installed and connected without the required G99 approval from the Distribution Network Operator (DNO). This approval is legally required before installation for systems over 3.68kW—something Glow Green themselves state on their website. At this point, I have a damaged roof, a system that may not be legally compliant, and no accountability from the company or its subcontractors. The lack of professionalism and care has caused a great deal of stress for my family and me. I would strongly advise others to think twice before choosing Glow Green.”

“I cannot rate this company highly enough. The service from start to finish has been exceptional. I started my enquiry with Liam, who gave me excellent advice and proposals. There was zero pressure from him regarding the sale. He told me to get more quotes and to come back when ready. I did so, and nobody could provide like for like equipment in a package or even match the quoted price. The service from there on was great. I was given dates for the scaffolding, delivery and installation. Unfortunately, I couldn't accept the original dates. It was re-organised very quickly and in a time frame that was appropriate for me. I was kept informed all the way by Glow Green regarding the progress and delivery dates. The delivery came on the Monday, scaffolding on the Tuesday and installation on the Thursday. Everything was so slick. When it came to the installation, I had Omnia Services. The nicest, friendliest, professional guys I could've asked for. John was the panel installation engineer and Rich was the electrician. During the whole installation, I was kept informed of what was going on, as well as information regarding post installation. They were very clean workers and tidied up after they had finished. The installation of the battery, invertor, installation switches etc is exceptionally neat. I couldn't be happier. The follow up customer care from Glow Green has also been great. I cannot find any fault at all with any of this service. I am based in the North West and Glow Green are in Bournemouth, but this didn't create any hurdles at all. If you are looking for solar installation, you must seriously consider Glow Green.”
