“I had been looking for a PV solar provider able to deliver honest, independently-backed advice, installation and fully comprehensive service with no hard sell whatsoever. I found Glow Green to tick all the boxes I needed, with great communication at the onset and prompt replies. They were able to accommodate my fairly late stage request to switch from financing to paying upfront without hassle and minimal back and forth. The delivery of all the good happened exactly as scheduled and the installation was relatively flawless considering adverse weather plagued the time of year my installation took place (early January). Whilst my opinion of them is very positive, objectively speaking the level of support and responsiveness significantly decreased after I had made all payments, and in the interim of the goods being delivered and the installation. This was quite disconcerting as support is needed both pre- and immediately post-installation, regardless of whether payment has been made or not. The quality of the panels and associated hardware is excellent however, and the price/value for money aspect is also great. Overall I would therefore recommend them as a PV solar installation company, but I think their post installation care and guides for the end user need to be greatly improved. I received no real explanation of how the system works from the installing team, and this would have made the transition and trouble shooting to independent use much smoother.”

“Smooth procees from initial enquiry to final installation. The most professional tradesman I have ever had the pleasure to meet carried out the work, leaving the site as tidy as they came to it. When installed they explained the system from top to bottom. Well pleased Would have given Glow Green an excellent except for the fact that the DNO exceptance paperwork only became available when I contacted the network operator myself. In fact they informed me that the certificate of exceptance letter had been ready for sometime. They e-mailed me letter immediately upon my request, Glow Green get your act together. Would nevertheless highly recommend Glow Green Trevor Ashurst”

“Very quick response when existing boiler was found to be dangerous when flue seal broke. New boiler installed before Xmas and company waived Labour costs. Engineer who installed, Med, was very thorough and explanied operation.”

“From initial contact to installation our experience was very good. The installation team were excellent and even though they encountered issues all were resolved. The only negative since the installation is that an outstanding issue highlighted by the installer is still not resolved and promises to call back to have not materialised. “Really excellent installation work, all completed with minimum of fuss given the fact that the house is 17th century. Bit difficult to get through to Glow Green once the contract was signed, but when I did they were on the ball and all that was promised was delivered.”

“This is a follow up to my original 5-star review. Unfortunately, I have had to downgrade that to 4 stars after experiencing some problems. During the installation, the team led by Robert, experienced electrical issues in getting the boiler, heating and water heating to work together and this extended the job from one and a half days to three. Robert and his team were outstanding and persevered until the discovered that the control box was faulty and had to procure and install a new one. This solved the issue and the system is now working perfectly. I also had problems getting a promised refund for parts that were not used and for work clearing asbestos from the old boiler and flue. This took some time to solve and my refund was less than I expected. Lastly, the finance company's website (Creation) is very poor and difficult to negotiate and understand. Making my first two payments was tricky but I am now more aware of how to do it.”

I would have given 5 stars 🌟 but the engineer installing was not familiar with the wires from my hive to the boiler, he connected it up, but, it is not correct, I am waiting for Glow Green to arrange for a electrician to come and fix it.”
