“After being referred to a company through Samsung who had bad reviews and a long wait, I started looking around and found Glotech. Alex came out the morning after booking it and fixed my washing machine within 20 minutes. They were also £50 cheaper than Samsungs choice! Alex was lovely and it could all be paid by card on the spot (and takes Amex!) Will be using Glotech for any other repairs when needed.”

“I was able to get an appointment within just a couple of days of calling. The engineer, Alex, quickly found the source of the problem and had the part required to fix it, at a reasonable cost. I'm a happy customer.”

“Although unable to repair my washing machine, the engineer was extremely helpful on detailing what was wrong and the likely outcome if the w/m continued to be used. He gave a rough idea what the repair cost might be for replacement parts, excluding labour costs. This was very helpful and gave me the opertunity to carefully consider my next course of action. Thank you Glotech”

“I contacted Glotech in July 2023 to request an engineer to fix the ice maker in my freestanding fridge freezer. I paid the call out fee over the phone as requested . Unfortunately the engineer was unable to repair it as it required a part from Siemens. I was then asked to pay for the part upfront as it needed to be ordered. Several months passed and I’d heard nothing from Glotech so I contacted them to request an update. I was told they didn’t have an update and it was still on order. I expressed my displeasure that there didn’t appear to be any monitoring of my part order and that I’d had to chase it myself. I called Glotech several more times and had the same response. In fact that it might not be possible to get the required part as my freezer is circa 10+ years old. In December I received two calls from them suggesting that I would be updated in the new year. Last week I had a call from Glotech saying the part now wasn’t available and suggesting either a credit or a refund. I have finally received a refund of £240.25 not the £330.19 I was expecting as they have deducted the call out fee which I paid prior to the engineer’s visit in July. I don’t generally write reviews but I feel very disappointed.”

“This review is related to our washing machine repair - door lock required replacement. The repair centre communications and messages were good. The team provided timely Engineer visits. Had some issue with the door part mix up which resulted in a delayed repair (4 visits needed).”

“I received a reply with a repair date the very next day after I got a quote on line. Price Affordable. Repair was Quick. Please with the repair. Engineer was very Friendly, polite and trustworthy. I have already recommended my friends and working colleagues of Glotech Repairs. I strongly recommend this repairs service.”

“How many men does it take to change a light bulb!? Sounds like the start of a joke! In Glotechs case - three! That's assuming they were all Glotech engineers - reading the other reviews it appears they subcontract work out. That doesn't bother me too much as long as the appliance is fixed (which it was) The light in my microwave had stopped working and to be fair you have to take the microwave apart to replace it! But still, over £100!? Of which only £10-£12 was for the bulb. As mentioned previously it took three visits. First to diagnose the problem 'We'll try changing the bulb but if it still doesn't work we won't be able to get parts'. (fair enough, the microwave is pretty ancient). 2nd visit - engineer realised the wrong bulb had been ordered. A third visit was arranged after re-ordering the bulb - this was cancelled on the day. Rearranged for a couple of days later - again cancelled on the day. Finally on the third ACTUAL visit the bulb was replaced and it's working fine (I've kept the box with the part no. on it if it goes again). The engineers were friendly, courteous and efficient.”

“We had a booking between eight and 1. I called at 830 to get a time estimate. They told me it would probably be closer to 2. At 2:15 they said they were behind. Maybe 430. Then at 430 I called again. After taking a day off work, waiting all day they tell me they won't be able to make it. They never called me. I called each time. I asked to speak to a supervisor. They said he would call right back. Instead I got a call the next morning during my teaching time. They wanted me to take ANOTHER day off work. I asked for a late afternoon or Saturday. That was not a choice. The man said appointments are not guaranteed. Since when? If I cancel the website says I an be charged.”

“Tip-top service The service request was booked at lunchtime and was immediately confirmed for a time within 24 hours. The two engineers - Andrew and Danny - arrived promptly the following day as arranged, and slightly ahead of time which was great with a telephone call in advance to say they were on their way. They were both really helpful, very capable, and pleasant to work with. Everything required was done swiftly and professionally. I will definitely use this company again should the need arise. Highly recommended.”

“The service is exceptional. A very rapid response to my repair request and the follow up was also extremely efficient. The prices are very fair. It is not easy to get effective and reliable service these days but Glotech certainly delivers. Highly recommended.”

“Fridge freezer problem. Great service. With risk of food loss the ability to book an appt outside of working hours. A big plus for me. Dean arrived and identified the problem (also a a day earlier than booked, another +++) ordered the part and it was fixed today by Gerry in less than 30 minutes. Clean and tidy pushed unit back and switched on . The only reason not a 5-star only because I haven't left it the 6 hours to check its all working fine as directed. Looking good. Recommend 5* if the part holds up but service GREAT recommend. (Also not a bot)”

“Dean came on Tuesday to determine nature of repair to top Oven. Needed a replacement element and luckily sourced one. Company kept me informed when part was in and in turn arranged to fit today Thursday only 48hrs from point of contact. Brilliant service and I would recommend Dean the technician AND his Company to all my friends.”

“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, as many reviews stated, they will come around, charg you, tell you that somebody will call regarding the pricing of the part, and after chasing them they will tell that the part is not available or that they couldn't find it, when I first spoke to the man on the phone he literally said that they able to fix 95% of appliances, well not mine and from what I can see from other reviews they definitely DO NOT fix 95% of appliances,I'm starting to question if they don't do it on purpose as there are lots of 1 star reviews stating exactly the same problem, part not found or not available or whatever, sound a bit like bs for a company that can fix almost every appliances, ended up spending 90£ for someone to come and tell me what I already knew, robbing people, ridiculous”
