You can't really judge an insurance company until you make a claim. I haven't made one in the 10 years of having a policy and yet the premium has more than doubled. The website is quite dated and could be made much simpler and user friendly.

It is very difficult to rate glibelunk insurance services when I haven't used the service. Ask me in 12 months time and I will have an answer. The website was easy to use though if thats what you want to know

Impossible to say. Haven’t needed to make a claim yet. It would be nice to be able to delete the medical coverage. Many immigrants already get good coverage from other sources.

Thankfully I have not been in the position to need to make a claim on Travel or Medical insurance. The cover offered is good enough for me to have used Globelink for some years now. However, following my previous complaints to them about the currency for purchasing the insurance in past years, Globelink have now added a warning message at the payment page. This is to advise that your bank charge additional fees for the transaction, as the bank used is a Barclays UK bank but the premiums are quoted and paid in Euros - this results in a foreign currency exchange cost which cannot be avoided. What I am unable to understand is why Globelink offer insurance to EU residents, quote premiums in Euros, are registered in Cyprus, yet do not use an EU bank for payments to made directly into it, in Euros.

Thank you for your feedback and for renewing with Globelink again, we were alerted by yourself that your Portuguese bank had added transaction a fee when payment was made in Euro’s to our Barclays Euro account but unfortunately these fees imposed are out of our control. When taking out family insurance for the year there wasn't the option to add winter sports coverage for just one member of the family, I had to add for all the family.

I called twice. There did not seem to be any record or recall of my first discussion with a representative. There was a lot of information to take in and this insurance policy was expensive. I would have preferred to see it written down before committing to it and I had to summarise what I thought I had purchased and ask for confirmation in order to be sure.

The renewal process for anyone with pre-existing conditions is seemingly very contradictive. You can work it out in the end but must have been written by an accountant or someone who has never tried user testing...

Easy to organise and buy but VERY expensive. However it is available, which is a major factor. There doesn’t seem to be any graduation between older people who have no medical condition and those that are very unfortunate. It’s just age.

Straightforward to renew, covers core essentials, big jump in prices for 71yrs & more - why not a linear increase? Ski cover arbitrarily dropped from covered basic activities - why? Otherwise facilitates multiple worldwide travel.

Thank you for your feedback, sadly we cannot offer Winter Sports cover once an insured reaches the age of 71 year or over and the rates do increase with the 71- age banding, we wish you many more safe and happy trips while insured with us under your annual multi trip policy.

Ho deciso di ristipulare la polizza con globelink perché ha alti massimali per spese sanitarie e personale liability. Quando abbiamo avuto un sinistro innpassato, ci hanno parzialmente rimborsato, ma il rapporto online con il servizio assistenza è complesso: è basato in Grecia e spesso tocca scrivere ripetutamente per ottenere risposta perché rispondono persone diverse. Per il sinistro non sono stata rimborsata del tutto a causa delle franchigie

The Claims Handlers Healthwatch who are the Financial Conduct regulated appointed claims handler for our Globelink.EU travel insurance policies once the claims document is assessed your claim will have been resolved less any deductible excess that is shown on your certificate of insurance (unless the Excess Waiver option has been added) Once more thank you for your feedback and wish you the best for the future.

Was the only option I found but I prefer not to do business with British people. Would have preferred an option from the European Union.

You sent me an Email offering 10% discount 'Spring 24", but there was no mention of this when booking, even though we booked directly from the offer Email

Thank you for your review, the Spring24 discount code was sent to people who subscribed to our Mailing List for use to enter as a discount code when purchasing a policy before 5th April when buying your Globelink travel insurance online or over the phone for a 10% saving off any policy premium.

I think it is very poor that the minute you turn 66 that your premium more than doubled regardless whether you are in great health or not.

Have the insurance every year. I purchase two policies. I had to ring to get some advice and person seemed very short with me. However the person did resolve what i needed to know I renewed that policy and then when i did the other one, it wouldn't allow me it kept reverting back to my policy so i had to ring again Unfortunately i recognised the same person voice who answered this time again very short
