“Only just joined GEM but from the comparisons I have read from different reviews and the initial application process I feel confident I have made the right choice of breakdown providers. Hopefully wont need their services but if the worst should happen.............”

“I called GEM out when the car I was driving broke down. They said they would be with me within the hour and they were. When the chap came he was very helpful, friendly and professional and was very concerned for my safety. He got the car started but as he wasn't convinced that it would get me home safely he put it on the back loader and took us to a garage of my choice. I have just renewed my membership and have recommended GEM to my friends and family.”

“Over the years I have used Gem both for trouble at home and out on the roads. On two occasions I have been transported home ( with my car). The service has been excellent on all occasions. Gem Motoring Assist is second to none.”

“I returned to GEM membership last year after several years of buying the cheapest cover available. The difference with GEM is I am confident they will be there when I need them, and I'll be treated fairly. We made a claim last year and got great service. GEM is good value, too.”

“I have been happy with gem assist but my concern was that you were offering new customers a discount .The customer representative i spoke to was very professional and polite and agreed to meet me halfway which i thought was fair.”

“Good to see that GEM provide accident recovery at no extra cost and unlimited call outs. Too many companies out there wanting top dollar but not there for you when you need them most. Just plain greed and restricted service.”

“I have been a member for three years now however, I have not had to use the service as yet. What I like about it however, is the peace of mind. Obviously, I cannot comment in full but it is reassuring to receive the quarterly magazine, regular email updates and so forth plus the reviews from people who have used the service are always positive. I will write another review when I need a call out but in the meantime, the policy documents, accident advice and suchlike are always very helpful.”
