Was very easy to sign up and register; I liked the simplicity of the registration, and being able to add my wife and I to be covered irrespective of the vehicle. Just hope now that I don't have to find out how good they are at fixing cars!

I cannot really write a review because I have only just joined GEM having been a member of RAC for about 40 years,but the cost of joining GEM is nearly half that of RAC.Hope the service is as good!

I have yet to use the services however the membership process is quick and easy. Also my emailed questions were answered promptly and to me satisfaction.

Extremely easy to join though generally companies do make paying them money easy. Having contacted them to ask what personal membership actually means the person I spoke to was very helpful, though if the company had any sense they would have made this patently obvious on their website. If fact it sounds too good a deal. As for the service that they provide that is yet to me discovered, so is the mysterious £40 Excess fee which is unexplained. This company really needs to employ someone with marketing skills so as to get its message out into the public domain, that or perhaps a better web page designer. I am wasting my time as this will never get published, the invite to comment was from the company itself posing as a feedback company, they must think the public are stupid.

Thank you for leaving a review. We are a little mystified by your reference of a £40 excess fee as neither of our policies Recovery RECLAIM or Recovery EXTRA has an excess. One of our customer service team will try and contact you to go through the cover you have recently purchased.

It was simple to join GEM online, so I've given them 4*. I don't look forward to breaking down, but if I do I'm expecting excellent service from GEM, based on their award winning track record. I will then look forward to giving them 5* for their service!

Good. I had to wait for Landline & Broadband to be re-connected before renewing. I discovered there are numerous voucher codes available. I think existing members should receive the same discount as new members!
