“Thank you for a very quick and good service. However, I have decided to cancel this membership because my existing insurance provider has provided me with a competitive quote. “Over the years, our son has had a number of vans (panal vans for social & domestic use only) covered by the family breakdown cover and we have been more than pleased with the breakdown cover provided. However, when his latest van broke down he was not allowed to claim because this van is 2.7 tons and the maximum is 2.5 tons. It never crossed our minds to check limitations on vehicles especially as I have towed caravans for 35 years with quite big 4x4's. Motorhomes, incidently, are covered up to 3.5 tons. Reluctantly, our son will have to find alternative van breakdown cover.”

“GEM have rescued me on a number of occasions - they have always kept me in touch with who's coming out, timescales have always been correct, reimbursement of garage rescue costs has been within 48 hours. Brilliant all round!”
