“I broke down on my motorcycle and called GEM via the emergency telephone on the dual carriageway. Attendance was prompt and the refund of the fee I paid was made the following day. Excellent service, thank you.”

“Fortunately I haven't needed them very often but when I have called them out they have been prompt, courteous and helpful. They're absolutely invaluable for peace of mind. They also do personal cover rather than just covering the car, which is great. I would recommend them to anyone”

“I have in the past been with the AA and RAC, however GEM is the best breakdown service that I have used. I recently had to use the "At Home" service, because the electronic handbrake had seized. They first sent out a company ( who arrived within 30 min) to see if the could release it, but that failed, then asked where I would like the car taken, I said to Seven Oaks in Kent, where the main dealer is. They said yes that's fine and duly organised a pick up truck to take the car. Now that doesn't sound out of the normal for a breakdown service, but I live in North London, so to Seven Oaks is quite a distance. I am quite certain the AA or RAC would not have been so obliging ! The other thing about GEM they are much cheaper than either the AA or RAC, and more importantly, give a better service !”

“Hi, this product was very competitively priced for my first year, and completely met my motoring needs, however when it came to renewal time, as is often the case, my renewal premium was almost doubled. Unfortunately this was not acceptable. Kind regards”

“Good service and prefer the driver cover rather than individual vehicle cover. Haven't used gem call out for a while but have used historically and found good call out time and successful problem resolution.”

“I have only had to call assistance once for a breakdown and found the service excellent. The person who took my call made sure I was safe and had a safe place to wait for the recovery vehicle. My car was picked up within an hour of my call and during my wait i received another call to check I was ok. I also received text messages giving the name of the person who was coming to assist and their expected arrival time. Overall a fantastic service that took the worry out of a stressful situation.”

“Brilliant! Had an engine gasket fail in the middle of nowhere in the pitch dark and pouring rain - total loss of coolant and stranded by the roadside on my own. Super-efficient and reassuring GEM had a recovery vehicle out in record time and me and my unhappy car taken safely home. GEM made sure they maintained contact and kept me up to date all the time, and the recovery service was excellent. Glad to say the car is now repaired and happy too! Couldn't ask for better service - well done and thanks to everyone.”
