took policy out in advance,my mistake only put 1 driving conviction in when i filled form out on line, my error spoke to them the next day as policy was not to start for another 14 days and they charged me £55 for cancelling policy that had not even started

Waste of time, never answered my emails, charged me £150 for a mistake when l bought the car, l explained the reason, but they literally told me the computer says no... Then they charged me £55 for cancelling the contract that didn't even started. They took 5 days to return the £150 fees for the mistake, and still charged me £55 for cancelling the contract. Very bad and stressful experience

I was involved in an incident and suddenly found that I had no idea who was supporting me. There was a claim handling company (Crusader), an accident management company (Kindertons - who rang me and texted me relentlessly to ask to pick up my car and give me a hire car without explaining what happens if I fail to establish the third party is liable). Then there is an insurer (Covea) and another name for the broker (Grove and Dean). It's impossible to trust a process with so many parties involved and as a customer how can I be expected to understand who I should speak to or what the proper process is. During this ordeal I have also been contacted to be told my premium is going up (sharply) and I stand to lose my no claims bonus having never had a crash and not being at fault in this incident.

Dreadful company! Takes your money then you’ll find the insurance company won’t insure you, then takes a month to refund you ? Avoid.. Buy Cheap.. Buy Twice!

Poor response to issues and lax attitude to reimbursing promised refund. Shockingly expensive to change from one car to another of same make model and age.

Terrible, rude, unprofessional and complete lack of knowledge. I called to cancel my car insurance before it start date. I was informed I wont be charged for cancellation, then was told I will be. Correct me if I am wrong but if a customer adviser aren't sure shouldn't he/she ask me to hold a line to get the correct information before misleading me? complete lack of knowledge, then not even an apology. You get what you pay for. Oh and my refund was late too which I had to chase after. NEVER AGAIN!!

I asked for my insurance not to be auto renewed but this was ignored. I have had to cancel 2 policies as a result of this. If you have asked before automatically renewing I may have stayed with Performance Direct. Please listen to your customers

Still waiting on documents, after nearly a month, constantly hounding me for a mileage declaration form to be filled in and returned but havent event sent a form to fill in! Sent 5 emails and still no reply and a phone call yesterday and once again no return call, take your money and cant even do the basics! Will never use them again

Phoned to ask for proof of car in garage sent picture by reply they then cancelled the policy at 5pm so office closed as they sent me the wrong reply email address so didn’t get picture phoned to complain and got to speak to Kelsey who needs to brush up on her people skills they didn’t care that my R8 was left uninsured!!! Beware

Avoid at all costs. I Was charged 30% when i cancelled 3 weeks before the policy was to begin. Their customer services are an absolute disgrace.
