Up until last week I was very happy with Performance Direct, however since I had my agreed valuation application knocked back my estimation has plummeted, unfortunately. I can't find a vehicle matching mine, advertised for even close to the valuation I asked for, I provided a lot of very solid proof but not interested. I'll stick with them until the end of this policy then I'll be finding someone else I'm afraid.

Had a call from a young operative re car insurance I was driving and asked him to cal me in 3-4 minutes. To renew my policy Still waiting on him calling me !

Horrendous experience with them wouldn’t recommend avoid utter useless horrendous to get hold of on the phone and not worth the hassle

Absolute disaster of a company. Avoid at all costs. Took my car insurance payment twice. Took weeks to get back. They denied it a first. It's a scam company. Please avoid at all costs. If its cheap and sounds to good to be true, it probably isn't true.

Sadly I have been unable to download my Insurance Documents for my recently renewed Car Insurance. I was unable to access my "on line" personal account, as my E. Mail was deemed unacceptable. I contacted PD by phone and was assured my documents would be sent by E. Mail I am still waiting!

In the process of trying to get £1000+ back on my credit card due to auto renewal action when I didn’t ask for this. Quoted this large amount…over 40% higher than the year before (never made a claim so not sure how good their customer service is. Figured they didn’t want to insure me for a further year! Got insured by another company at an affordable cost….didn’t get notified of the payment to be taken…..and now the charge is on my credit card statement. I’m awaiting their decision after proving that I had taken out alternative cover….wish me luck 🍀

Everything is now on APP wish is shockingly rubbish. Already have cars insured with them, wouldn’t quote thru app/website. Went thru go compare and performance direct come back the cheapest ! So purchased thru go compare. Shocking. Will be leaving next year

took policy out in advance,my mistake only put 1 driving conviction in when i filled form out on line, my error spoke to them the next day as policy was not to start for another 14 days and they charged me £55 for cancelling policy that had not even started

Waste of time, never answered my emails, charged me £150 for a mistake when l bought the car, l explained the reason, but they literally told me the computer says no... Then they charged me £55 for cancelling the contract that didn't even started. They took 5 days to return the £150 fees for the mistake, and still charged me £55 for cancelling the contract. Very bad and stressful experience

I was involved in an incident and suddenly found that I had no idea who was supporting me. There was a claim handling company (Crusader), an accident management company (Kindertons - who rang me and texted me relentlessly to ask to pick up my car and give me a hire car without explaining what happens if I fail to establish the third party is liable). Then there is an insurer (Covea) and another name for the broker (Grove and Dean). It's impossible to trust a process with so many parties involved and as a customer how can I be expected to understand who I should speak to or what the proper process is. During this ordeal I have also been contacted to be told my premium is going up (sharply) and I stand to lose my no claims bonus having never had a crash and not being at fault in this incident.
