“It is no surprise to me that Grove & Dean followed suit in pushing people into financial turmoil with unacceptable price hikes. There was no need. At all. One of the plus points to owning a camper van was paying a lower insurance price because after all, it is generally driven a lot less than a car and is usually a persons second vehicle..... Now, it costs the same as a car to insure. With this changing world where freedom to move around is being restricted, Grove & Dean have proven they are focused on the same thing as all the rest; Profit not people.... Ultimately it will be the same everywhere, so here I am, but I hope some day to find at least one company who will freeze prices in hard times because a couple of years without profit is not a loss, its heroic.”

“They found a low cost policy that suited my requirements. An incorrect vehicle description in the proposed policy, motorhome or campervan, was quickly resolved over the telephone. Hopefully, at next year's renewal they will not try a 60% increase that the previous insurers attempted to auto-collect.”

“Good service but they increase premiums every renewal time rather than discounting the client for good driving and no claims. Yes I know a lot of companies do and it is frustrating for the motorists who have a excellent record or no claims or no penalties etc - it's like we are paying for other peoples misfortune. It's unfair. But apart from that good price including breakdown.”

“I have been with Grove & Dean for my car insurance for many years. Each year, at renewal time they would not just accept the existing insurer but would shop around and recommend the best deal. This year however, they did not do this, merely showing me the existing insurer's revised terms (which included a substantial increase in the premium). Not a lot of broking or customer service being undertaken!”
