“So I had the best time ever on the South Africa Wild Adventure - the staff in all areas were brilliant and I did some amazing things whilst out there and really pushed myself out of my comfort zone.
A few points though unfortunately it seems the description of gap360s differs from what you actually get to do - for example you do not get to choose the activities in Hazyview - they are already decided to which I was disappointed as I wanted to do caving. However gekkoing was an awesome experience.
Also the food doesn't come close to what was described that we would actually received whilst there. The conservation/anti poaching side of things is also very minimal and I didn't feel like I made as much of a difference as I wanted to and was prepared to do.”
“The trip was a once in a lifetime experience and I will never forget the memories I've made. The gap team were so helpful with organisation of flights/jabs/what to take/advice on how the country runs and what not to do when out there!
My only criticism is that the communication between gap360 and the game reserve, kwa madwala, was clearly not frequent. The trip is not really a conservation project as advertised but more of a safari holiday with a hint of anti poaching. Still a very worth while trip and amaaazing value for money.
Thank you!”
“Lots of Emails to help me understand whats happening and to make sure I feel very welcome and well informed for the Trip.
Maybe a lot of confusing emails to take in and plan.
Very helpful however.”
“I had an amazing 3 weeks in Thailand with Gap360. I tried so hard to extend to 4 weeks but it didn't work out unfortunately!
My group was incredible and I have made friends for life. Our guide JJ became family straight away and is the best guide I've ever had. JJ was so helpful and helped us out with everything we needed. He was so patient with us and really made us feel safe and comfortable. We were very lucky to have him! It was so much fun and I miss it so much!”
“A few problems getting to talk to the staff as I work the hours that Gap 360 is open, but they were willing to contact me outside of those hours, which left me confident about the trip. However, there were some problems with the 3rd parties used. Mostly on my arrival in Quito, as I was given a booklet of information but was not confirmed if my transfer would be arriving or where I would be met, in addition to having to wait 2 hours to been shown to my room and not offered for them to look after my luggage whilst I go into the city instead. I was not impressed by the service Ecole provided. Although once at the volunteering I was impressed by the experience provided by Yana Cocha. More than 4 days notice before departure of important information like bringing Wellington boots or only bringing currancy of low denomination would be appreciated. G advdntures who were used for the Inca trail were fantastic and provided an excellent service, I could not recommend them enough.”
“Gap360 was very clear and informative when it came to what trips there were and the itinerary for each. There was a lot of information and pictures for all of them which made it easier to decide on a trip. Booking was really easy and finding flights with gap360 couldn't have been easier, they were a great help and got us the exact times flights we needed! All very simple. The only qualm I have is that guidance through visa application was promised, and as indian visas are one of the most complicated to apply to, I was in dire need of a hand. However the help was a bit more limited than I expected, with the only information being given about it being the information that was on the Indian visa website anyway, which was unclear. Apart from that, everything was great- booking insurance was very easy too and a good price through gap360 ????”

“Gap 360 were very good at organsing my trip of a lifetime, they were very helpfuk all the way through and ensured that everything was running all ok up to the departure date. Would definately reccomend them.”
“A great starter trip for novice travelers, with a balance of volunteer work, fun activities and down time. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. However I feel the itinerary was a little vague as the volunteering activities were not what I expected.”
“Very good service, reliable, always at the end of the phone for any questions, queries or problems regarding your trip. Always helpful with advise on anything you need before and after booking. I have booked two trips to South Africa through Gap 360 now and would not hesitate to use them again, my only gripe is that I met a girl whilst I was on the Surf and Swim volunteer project and she had booked directly through the South African Volunteer company and had paid nearly half of what I had paid. However, through peace of mind and knowing your booking is safe and secure I am happy to use GAP 360.”
