“Good tour around Sydney but the Oz Jobs program is a scam, they just tell you to download an app to look for jobs. The app had 45 jobs on when I looked and that was all across Australia so not many in each state. Nowhere near the 1500 they advertise! Helpful guys in the office so that was handy but they really shouldn't advertise it as a jobs program, as that was the main thing I wanted but didn't get!”

“Absolutely amazing host! Rung was so helpful and friendly with everything we needed. The trip had lots of activities however it felt at times; it was unorganised chaos. The majority of the accommodation was good however there was definitely a few accommodations that were not up to standard, unclean with dirty towels and stains on the beds. Most of the accommodation date booked was far out, so expect to spend a lot on taxis! The itinerary also changed after booking and continued to change throughout the trip. I could have done the trip cheaper and better myself.”

“Wouldn’t recommend the Thai adventure tour, very very poor accommodation which I usually wouldn’t mind if they were in a good location but nearly every place we stayed was very far from civilisation. Would highly recommend just booking yourself as the price you pay through gap 360 is probably double what you would pay if you booked yourself and would be in much better location and much better standards. A few members of the group did contact gap 360 about this but with extremely unhelpful and rude reply’s. Would not book again with this company.”

“Just about at the end of some of the best weeks of my life. Sonny took us hiking in the jungle, around the night markets of Chiang Mai, and to the many islands in the south of Thailand. He seemed to know everyone, and provided so many experiences for us that we never would have found on our own. Great fun and unbelievably helpful, even once the tour was technically over. Cheers for the great time!”

“Sonny is a quality tour guide... absolutely world class. He was our tour guide for our Thailand Adventure, in which he created a family feel from start to finish in our group, allowing us to make memories and friendships that will last a life time. Always smiling, laughing, and joining in the banter with the group which was amazing and allowed everyone to be themselves. Couldnt recommended him as a tour guide any more!!! Top Lad!!!”

“Incredible trip with amazing planned out activities and the way it was run. We had an amazing tour leader called Nyla who made the whole trip so so memorable with how informative, organised and funny she was. I would recommend Gap360 in general and especially this trip for any solo travellers or even as a couple which is what I did.”

“Everyday was action-packed with pre-booked activities so we had ample opportunity to experience the culture, the place, and the people we were travelling with. Our tour guide, Mai, made the trip all the better by being a true friend as well as a responsible and knowledgeable guide. She was able to propose any number of optional activities for any free time we may have had and was so good at orchestrating a group of our size - 21 people - when it came to transport, accommodation, and dining. We mostly stayed in hostels some of which were more luxurious than hotels we have in Europe. With the Thai 25-day adventure, we were able to cover a lot of ground, travelling from the north to the south of the country before hopping from island to island. I would strongly recommend this tour to others.”

“Had an awful experience on a gap360 tour to Thailand back in July. During our trip in Chiang Mai, I was assaulted. I never told anyone of this incident because I was so traumatised at the time this happened. It is only now I feel I can speak out about it. Our group had gone to a bar and nightclub in central chiang mai and I couldn’t find my wallet. I asked group members if they had seen it and they all denied it. I became really distressed because neither my guide nor group would help me look for it and so I went off on my own in a complete state of panic through the dark streets of chiang mai (it was probably about 1am at this point). I am prone to have meltdowns and so being a vulnerable young woman on her own, a man of Thai ethnicity asked if I was alright. I was crouched up against a wall in tears and he came up to hug me. I was unable to push him away and this was when he assaulted me. To add to this, I was lost and couldn’t find my way back to the hotel. I couldn’t get hold of my tour guide or anyone in my group. I was completely on my own. After hours of wondering about I eventually found my hotel but of course I couldn’t get into my hotel room! My incredibly selfish roommate had taken the only key for herself and so I had no way to get back into my room, despite begging the hotel receptionist to give me a spare key! So there was me in a complete state, having just been assaulted and lost with no way to get into my hotel room. I then found out from one of my tour members that she had my missing wallet the whole time, despite saying she hadn’t seen it when I asked her earlier that evening! If she had just told the truth this would have never happened. It wasn’t until about 5am that I was able to get back into my hotel room. It was then I decided I was quitting the tour and going home. The treatment the other tour members gave me was unforgivable and I feel this company has no regard for health or safety. I am still scarred months later from this experience and given what happened to me I should consider suing them. Please if you are a young girl on her own, do not choose this company. I fear others will have the same fate. Gap360 clearly cannot guarantee a safe trip.”

“I had the best time of my life to start my 10 months in Australia the week in Sydney I made friends for life and made me feel a lot less nervous about moving to the other side of the world. Amazing experience sand boarding and dolphin watching! Will definitely book with gap360 again”

“I went to Ghana for 3 weeks volunteering in child care. This meant I spent the morning at a school and the afternoon at the orphanage which was walking distance. I had the best time and this was my first time travelling completely alone. I was met at the airport and made so many good friends which just made my experience that much better, including Aimee who works for gap360! The first weekend we went to a trip at Cape Coast, which was just eye opening. I don't think I've ever experienced such a friendly culture. Everyone is lovely and helpful and I felt so safe. I would recommend this trip to absolutely anyone and would encourage them to make the most of every second and sign up to everything. My accommodation and the food was just amazing, I would love to return!”
