“Haven’t found any other trainers as comfortable as these even from new. The little side zips are great for opening & closing if your feet become hot & tired after days of walking around. This is my second pair which I take on holiday & walk miles in. I wear them with dresses, 3/4 length trousers & jeans & regularly get compliments from friends & people whenever I do. If comfort is as important to style to you especially when travelling & walking around sightseeing these trainers are the ones for you.”

“Love Gabor shoes. So many different styles and colours. I have always found Gabor shoes so comfortable whether they are ‘flatties’ low heel or stilettos Narrow or wider fit. The only criticism is that you don’t do half sizes ie 8 and half!”

“I have previously bought a pair of Keegan Ankle Boots and decided on another pair as i have been really pleased with them. however, the new pair are much narrower and the finishing inside is not as good as previous. Hopefully this is a one off for Gabor”

With regard to fit, they do warm and stretch as you wear them, your feet will become more comfortable as they wear in. “Gabor Shoes have been excellent in relation to my returns, following a mix up by Royal Mail and the temporary disappearance of an item I had sold to a customer on eBay (Royal Mail had attached the wrong labels following a collection of two items). Customer Services was extremely helpful, located the 'wrong package' without delay and returned it to me. I received it 'next day'. Thank you Gabor Shoes!”

“Very well made with good quality materials. My latest purchase a block heel suede shoe in dark navy fits comfortably and looks great from all angles. Will enjoy wearing these at a family wedding soon.”

“I am delighted to have been able to purchase a pair of shoes in a true size 9. I have spent 100s of wasted pounds on missold shoes. I bought these for my sister's wedding but will be wearing them to an interview day beforehand. I would love it if you could expand your range of 9w.”

“I ordered these boots because they were supposed to be a wide fit. Unfortunately they were actually quite narrow. They were also too long in the foot and loose on the heel. Had to return.”

“Disappointed as one show had clearly been worn. Various marks on it which were unmissable. Very disappointing, however bought Gabor shoes before on many occasions which have been great.”

“I was very disappointed with these shoes. They were very hard leather. Having paid a lot of money for them I expected them to be comfortable but they weren't. I couldn't take the chance of them softening with wear, so I returned them.”

“I love Gabor shoes. As a woman with size 9 wide feet and needing support as well as wanting a ‘trendy’ shoe. The pair of trainers I ordered were not wide enough and I had to pay £9.95 to return them. Very disappointed- am not purchasing another pair, sadly.”

Thank you for your review. You can return items to one of our stores if you have one near, or choose Royal Mail second class which is cheaper. There is also a link on our website to Collect + where you can buy a label for £4.49 which covers up to 10 kilo in one package and is a tracked service. “I have been buying Gabor boots and shoes for years. They fitted me well, I liked the styles, and the quality has been really high. More recently produced ranges seem of less good quality. The whole sole of the boots I bought two years ago became unglued, and a repair did not last. I have since bought some more Gabor boots, and they seem to me to be of thinner materials, with a rougher finish in some of the parts, and less good fit.”
