“Attractive suede ankle boots. I was expecting more comfort, as in previous Gabor shoes. They were described as wide fitting, but I found them to be average to slim fit. A little disappointed, as I expected more for the price I paid.”

“First contact with customer service by telephone but was not especially helpful. The second lady(?Alison) was an excellent advisor & is an outstanding ambassador for your business. She took time to call me & explain the stock situation and also subscribed me to email alert as I had been unable to do this ....not sure why it wouldn’t allow me.”

“The knee length boots were lovely. Very soft leather. I ordered a size 4 and 4.5. The 4 were a snug fit so had the 4.5 which were perfect. The only downside was you had to pay to return any items by post.”

“Great product, exactly what I needed to order for Xmas, but I clicked through Topcashback to get some rebate due to the high cost and Gabor have not confirmed it so I feel rather conned”

“I was happy with the two pairs of boots I purchased. However, I was very disappointed that there was no returns paperwork included with my order and I had to pay to return one pair which cost me £11.00 in postage!”

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are sorry to hear the style chosen was not suitable, and hope you find an alternative style you like within our range. We offer a free standard UK delivery with no minimum spend. However, we do ask the customer to pay the returns cost. Returns can be taken into a Charles Clinkard store or returned to our Head Office. We do recommend a tracked service, however it is up to the customer to return whichever method is convenient. We do offer a Collect Plus label through the returns section of our website, which is £4.49 for up to 10kg of returns, which can be suitable for those returning multiple or heavier items. “Disappointed as always found Gabor shoes and boots fit well but these boots were too narrow across my foot do not usually need the wide fit. Costly to return,”

“Love the boots, there are a slim fit which I wanted. I’ve been looking for years for this style of boot. My only disappoint is the box was wrecked when the parcel was delivered. I like to keep my boots in the box to help protect them when not stored.”

“Excellent delivery, came before the due date. Boots look fantastic and very good quality. They come up a little big. I'm a 5 and half and usually order 6. If wearing chunky socks, then it would be fine. They are about half and inch too big on the toe but I'm very happy with them. Very comfortable and I love the warm lining.”

“Absolutely love the boots. I have very slim calves and these are a perfect fit. Beautiful soft leather. I used the web chat to get an update on delivery I did find the responses not very customer friendly.”

“Shoes are lovely and sizing is always constant which means I'm always a 6.5. Disappointingly, half the shoe packing was missing on arrival, which I wouldn't expect for shoes of this quality.”

“Very good service. I was sad that the boots didn’t fit so returned them. The refund was credited to me very quickly. I would definitely order from them again. Sadly they did not have the boots in the next size up.”
