The service was good but they sent me the wrong colour of sandal even though the invoice stated the one that I ordered. I did not return them as too much hassle.

The sandals are lovely but I'm afraid I cannot get on with the Best fitting part.

The purchasing the shoes was super easy, and the shoes are great. However, I bought two pairs as I wasn’t sure on my size, and it cost me £8 to return the bigger pair (10% of the show price!) This has definitely put me off ordering online.

Thank you for your review. We do have a link on our website that is with Collect + so that you can purchase a returns label at the low cost of £4.49. This would cover up to 10 kilos so you can return several items at the same time. You can also send back using any courier service that you wish, second class Royal Mail is approximately £2.85 and you can purchase tracking for 80p more. We will accept returns also into any Charles Clinkard store, we allow up to 365 for you to return unworn items. Love the Wemo trainers but the sole is really badly designed. After one short walk outside on the pavement I had to pick a ton of mud and tiny stones out of the sole. The design of it picks up everything and then you leave a trail of dirt on indoor floors :-(

My sandals were sent from Charles Clinkard. A sticker inside one indicated that they had been marked down from the original price but I was charged the full price. The sandals had clearly been worn/tried on carelessly and the soles were dirty. I managed to get a postage-paid label and returned them. I would have given a 'poor rating' if the review was solely concerned with the supplier.

Shoes are great, delivery service was appalling. DPD is used. On the day of delivery, they emailed me to say 'We've missed you. We'll take your parcel to your nearest DPD Pickup Shop:' When I checked my CCTV camera of the front door it showed no attempt was made to deliver, in fact, I saw the van speed past the house on its way to the pickup shop, it never stopped. I then had to do the running around to pick up my parcel. Because of this reason I won't mail order Gabor shoes again. This was reported to Gabor customer services who said in the future I could ask for the delivery to be made by Royal Mail - not really the solution, you should use a delivery company that delivers.

We use DPD and Royal Mail for our deliveries as we have found these to be the most efficient for our customers, DPD offers a next day service and also contacts the customers with a one-hour time slot which is very helpful. However, we can see that on this occasion you were let down. I like the sandals, however they were to big. I wanted to do an exchange for a size smaller however was Very disappointed I had to pay 5.00 to return the ones that didn't fit. So ended up just doing a return with no exchange just in case

If an exchange was requested, we would again cover the postage for the delivery to you. The Carmen women's sandals I ordered looked identical to 2 pairs I loved and purchased a good few years ago. Sadly I had to return them as they were narrower than my previous ones so did not fit my wide feet. I was aware that I would have to pay for my return but hoped I could return them free via collect+. Unfortunately the nearest point for me was Leeds and I live in Manchester. Because of this I paid for the return, so I would not order online again. I love Gabor shoes but would in future purchase from a shop so I could try them on.

The box that the shoes arrived in was bent and torn as though they had been stamped on by Royal Mail Not very satisfactory

The shoes were great but all too narrow. I tried to find a wider fit on the website but couldn't. I have returned the items, which cost me £20. I love this brand but disappointed of the returns cost and could not figure out how to get the same order in wide fit. Highly recommend the shoes but I will only purchase in store in the future I'm case I need to return.

I have a pair of size 5 ankle boots in brown bought a couple of years ago which fit perfectly. Ordered a size 5 and 5.5 (just in case) black ankle boot for a holiday. Had to return both pairs as both too small. The sizing is unpredictable. So no new boots cost me £11. Will not order by post again.

Boots were lovely but slightly too big I did not want to pay an additional £9 postage to return another pair should they not fit. It’s a shame it isn’t clear it in the terms that returns postage is Not free. Especially as there are no shops in London.

Great shoes. Rubbish delivery. Received a message saying they had been delivered to me and signed for. I was actually. out. My neighbour who should have received them was in but didn’t. Eventually after wasting time trying unsuccessfully to contact Royal Mail someone living several doors down arrived with the shoes. My query to Gabor was answered very promptly.

I ordered a bright pink pair of sandals but when they arrived was dismayed so find one sandal was a different shade of pink to the other. I returned them and am still waiting a new pair.

Always buy gabor shoes and boots, but these military boots are very uncomfortable and left me with very painful feet
