“Cannot praise enough ordering was really easy delivery on time and the product ( chelsea boots) are great quality and so comfortable I will definitely recommend this site to friends the same as I was recommended plus the fact my first order had 25% off which was a bonus”

Thank you for your review. We do deliver free of charge but ask if customers can cover the cost of returns. You can take back to any Charles Clinkard store, or send back using a courier or Royal Mail service. There is also a link on our website to Collect + where you can purchase a label for £4.49 and this will cover up to 10 kilo in one package allowing several returns to be sent back together. I am sorry to hear that the shoes were not a good fitting for you. With regard to posting back, you can choose the service that you wish. You appear to have chosen a signed for next day service, but you can use second class which is much cheaper. You can then add tracking for approximately 80p more so you can see when they come back. Also there is a link on our website for £4.49 which covers up to 10 kilo of returns with Collect +. Alternatively you can take back to any Charles Clinkard store if you have one near to you. “Not received my parcel yet so can’t say if the sizing advice I received has been helpful! Could have better updates on shipping from Gabor themselves - I have had shipping updates from Dpd I assume are for this parcel but can’t be totally sure as the name Gabor is not mentioned anywhere. The sizing information online regarding width etc is not consistently clear but I did receive a prompt email when I wrote in to ask.”

Thank you for your review. When we send an order out, it is usually delivered the next day. On this occasion when DPD tried to deliver on the 6th January, there was nobody home so a calling card was left. I can see that 2 further dates have been arranged from yourself with DPD also. We were unaware of this as DPD is a seperate service which we pay for, although the tracking is available on your order. “Used to buy Gabor decades ago because for wide feet shoe buying was always difficult. Used to only use Clark's and Geox. Now mainly wheelchair or stick bound, but nothing in the wardrobe for a nice night out for News Years Eve in Brugge. Found a Charles Clinksrd actual shop in Witney and bought an appropriate pair in the Gabor G fitting for the Gala dinner. Went to the Gabor shop in Brugge in Belgium..... even emailed ahead about the items I wanted, but all they could show me were boots... so on return home to the UK ordered the 2 pairs I wanted. Delivered promptly, fit perfectly and already in my suitcase for Barbados in April.”

“Sadly will be returning boots. Very narrow round ankle. Just didn’t look or feel right on me. Good quality leather though. I am disappointed as to return item has not been cheap. Will not purchase in future when returns are not free.”

You can return your order to any of our stores for free. You can purchase a collect plus label from our website for £4.50 or you can also use Royal Mail, second class tracked service is a very popular option and this can start from as little as £3.30.
