“I ordered a wide feet but didn’t receive this. Rather than risk and spend to send them back I am going to travel to Oxford at the weekend. This is some distance from where I live. I have bought Gabor shoes in the past and been happy with them. But online ordering needs improving.”

Thank you for leaving your feedback. I am sorry to hear the width of your order was not suitable. We aim to provide hassle free methods for our customers to return. You are welcome to return to any Charles Clinkard branch with your proof of purchase if this is convenient. When posting, we do ask customers to cover returns postage, but offer a Royal Mail label for £3.20 on our website. This gives a reasonable price and is tracked service so you know when it has been received by our warehouse. This has been difficult to achieve when we are committed to walking to cut down our use of fossil fuels and still get quality and value from all our shoes. “I bought some sandals and loved the style. The sole was so well moulded to fit my foot. Have loved wearing. Treated myself to some winter boots on the back of that. They arrived today..exceeded what i was expecting. Such superior quality.”

“I was very pleased with my shoes but not with how they arrived. They were in a battered non descriptive box not the usuual smart silver Gabor shoe box with a label sellotaped to the side. Could I have my correct boc please as I like to keep them in the correct boxes? The shoes themselves, were not laced up and the zips uindone and thrown in the box as it someone had literally just tried them on.I checked the soles as it looked like they had even been worn. They looked so unproffessionally packaged that I even checked I had used the correct Gabor website and not a counterfeit one. I ordered a pair of shoes recently from another company and they arrived with inserts,tissue paper around them,in the correct box,laces etc done up and with a nice note from the company - they looked neat and proffessional; and it was a nice way to receive goods.Yours looked thrown together.”

“After many unsuccessful purchases, the intense relief at finding shoes in the style required for work, that are actually a comfortable fit, was life changing! Anyone with wide feet will understand the prolonged frustration trying to find shoes. Fingers crossed and clenching teeth I tried the shoes on, my Cinderella moment had arrived! Truly impressed. Delivery was also impressive prompt.”
