“I loved the shoes but had to return as they were too narrow for me.”

“The shoes were very good quality etc, however, I ordered one pair of calf boots and two ankle boots all size 8 but only one pair of ankle boots fitted? Very disappointing as I liked all of them but had to return the other two. Not sure what to think of the sizing? I’m always a size 8.”

“Gabor are the only company I have found who make long Boots narrow enough for my skinny calves. Previously all boots were baggy or I had to stick to ankle boots. Have to buy a half size smaller than usual though as Gobor boots seem to fit big. Great quality product! More skinny boots please!”

“The shoes fit well and are comfortable. However, one of the rings that the tassels are attached to broke when I tried on the shoes on receipt at home. Rather than send them back we acquired two keyrings and replaced both rings so they matched.”

“I have this style in suede so I was was delighted to find they are now available in leather, just in time for Autumn/Winter. They arrived quite quickly and are as comfortable as I could wish. All set to order the chocolate brown colourway now. It would be lovely if there was a choice of hardware ie silver or brass.”

Dear Sherri. Thankyou for your review. The Gabor Lanzarote are a standard width fitting toe post sandal which year upon year never fails to being style and comfort to our customers. After a number of wears you will find that the outer material will start to soften and fit the shape of your foot. Gabor Lanzarote are part of the Best Fitting rage from Gabor, the insole of the Best-Fitting-Model has been broadened so that the ball-area of the foot gains more step surface. If you are still unhappy with the fit, the items can be returned as long as they have not been worn outside and postage costs are covered by the customer. Currently we do not offer exchanges for International items I am afraid however this is something we will look into doing in the future. If we can help further do not hesitate to contact us. “Your service was excellent and the friend I purchased the shoes for very happy. The only complaint is that courier did not follow instructions and leave parcel in garage as requested(Friday). He came back on the Monday and even though we were in left parcel in garage.”

“I was looking for a pair of plain black court shoes - wide fitting and with a low heel. I contacted Gabor to find out whether my foot diameter would match the 'wide fitting' claim of the shoes. I have to say I wasn't particularly happy with the vague response, but ordered the shoes anyway. Again, having tried them on - they are NOT a 'G' fitting as claimed - a 'D' fitting at best. But I found that although they are a tight fit at the moment, they will stretch to be comfortable. Had it not been for the fitting issue I would have awarded 5 stars. The physical ordering process went like a dream, I received the shoes quickly and they are of very good quality.”

Dear Glenda Thankyou for your review. Gabor is a continental brand which will have no uniformity in the sizing, they also show their width fitting differently. A G in Gabor is a wide fit, a H is the extra wide fit option however the brand is known for the huge variety of wide fitting shoes which offer style, comfort and longevity. “Quick and efficient service. A real shame that shoes above a size 8 are not sold in many shops. Half sizes in larger sizes would be good too as would narrower styles. Actual shoes are lovely, I just struggle to find and to fit comfortably due to the above.”
