“Overall shopping experience was good but expensive to return item for a refund as colour of boot was not as expected”

“I returned the boots I bought the next day after delivery to you,because the were too small a d requested a size larger. I have however had no reply or delivery of my boots,I cannot fault the initial delivery but am anxious as to whether I shall receive my corrected order,or at least receive an acknowledgement of same, Thank you Marie Bridge.”

“Quality and design of shoes very good. Customer service over phone also very good. My problem was with delivery through Interlink Express which was confusing with differing delivery dates and location of my parcel. They had me chasingmy tail for 24 hours. If I buy from you again on line I will request Royal Mail delivery.”

“Gabor leather boots - very comfortable, practical, and not at all expensive. I think they're great for everyday use. They'll take any weather and treatment, so you don't have to be careful with them. Give them a good polish and they should last you all season.”

“Very pleased to find size 2.5 in a nice shoe (elegant style and not too high). Why can't more manufacturers think of people like me? First new pair of shoes for over 10 years as normally I can't find a nice style in my size. Also if you have small feet, don't keep the heel height the same as for larger feet as you have less sq inch/cm on the ground so it is difficult to grip and to walk. They need to be "scaled-down". Many thanks”

“I originally tried on the Navy Boots in a shop in my home town and they fitted perfectly, with plenty room to wear a pair of jeans/leggings. On searching the internet, the same boots were found to be £30.00 cheaper on the Gabor site. Unfortunately, once they boots arrived they were too tight on the calves and there was no way I was going to be able to wear a pair of jeans or leggings with these boots. Boots will be returned w/c 24th November '14 because of a very poor fit. These boots were definitely not the same fit as the ones I tried on in my local shop. Please note the pair of boots I tried in the shop were a new pair and had not been worn before.”

“I take a size 36 so it is SO good that I can usually get this size from you. The shoes always arrive quickly and you use a good courier service (not like some other companies I deal with!!). I very rarely have to return goods but when I have that has always worked well too. So - keep up the good work.”

“I bought a pair of your shoes when we were in London on a short break, they were so comfy that I decided to order another pair. They were the only shoes that I bought which I could wear straight away without getting blisters. The shoes are very well made and I will be ordering more from you in the future. Thank you.”

“It would help if I had known that the order would be dispatched by another company called Charles Clinkard. There was a bit of a muddle because I couldn't order them by phone from Jones Bootmakers Brighton and on their website then the navy didn't appear. I tried John Lewis, a favourite of mine, but they didn't show navy. So I ordered them from Gabbor direct. I'm very pleased with the boots. I've had Gabbor shoes before and know they are well made.”

“Excellent service. This is the third pair of the same boots I have bought. I wear them so much when the weather gets cooler that I literally wear them out. I hoping that in two years time when I need a new pair you still do them!”

“Shoes great but box was very bashed. Was frightened to open the box in case shoes were damaged. Carrier must have thrown them about in the van but shoes of high standard as expected.”

“The sandal was very comfortable to wear and easy to match with dress and pants.It's my first Gabor shoes.I hope it could be worn more than three years.The on-line shopping service was perfect.I could know the progress of my order by receiving emails and checking the website.Also,the little problem of my shipping address was quickly solved with your active help.This foreign online shopping is unforgettable and I'll choose your goods and service next time.”

“Shoes despatched well within the time frame given. The "delivery to my door" service was excellent and at no additional cost. Good communication and it was easy to change the delivery (date, deliver to neighbour etc.). I received an email early on the morning of the delivery with a 1 hour time which was helpful - it would be even more helpful if one could receive this the day before. I had intended to "Click and Collect" but couldn't work out which of the two stores in Oxford they would be delivered to for collection.”
