“I love Gabor shoes particularly that they are available in half sizes and are made with the best quality materials Unfortunately I have to return my beautiful purchased sandals because they’re too wide.”

“shoes themselves, lovely, unfortunately I received a pair with very dirty soles, I sent pictures to the supplier who replied with 'this does not affect the wearability and to clean with a damp cloth', if i bought them second hand or discounted due to the soles being dirty this would be reasonable, but I paid full price £89.99 which is a lot for my usual budget, therefore not happy with your customer service.”

“I bought my first pair of Gabor shoes from a shop in Sidmouth whilst on holiday in June. They are gold, stylish and SO VERY comfortable. So when I needed to buy a pair of black sandals there was only one brand to consider.......GABOR..... They are both the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn. Thank you.”

“Sorry had to return even though they were lovely, as could not get my foot into them and this has happened also in a pair of Gabor shoes, and boots that I bought from John Lewis, Quite disappointed as have bought your shoes and trainers over the years and extremely happy with them.”

“I am going to return the trainers. I purchased as wide fitting trainers. Despite being advertised as such, the recommendation on the shoe box is to remove the insoles to obtain the desired wide fitting. Hugely disappointed. The shoes are NOT made as wide fitting! In my opinion it is misleading The off white colour is very nice though!”

Thank you for your feedback, I'm really sorry to hear that the trainers did not meet your expectations regarding the width fitting. This shoe is known as a dual fit and can be made to be wide or extra wide depending if you leave the insole in or remove it. It also describes how you can take the insole out and add your own if you need an orthotic insole. We understand how important accurate product descriptions are, and your feedback is valuable to us as we strive to improve. If you would like to keep the insole in, you may find that a shoe half a size larger gives the extra area that you need within the shoe. The extra length is minimal, but the extra space makes the shoe feel much roomier especially around the of the foot and toe area. It doesnt work for everyone, but may be worth a try as many customers find ths method gives the perfect result. Kind regards, Janice - customer services

“I wanted a pair of white trainers with side zips. The Gabor pair were very cute, with sparkly turtles attached to the laces. I ordered my usual size and they arrived the next day. I've always loved these side zipped trainers of Gabors as the internal leather is soft enough to wear without socks. However because I've not been wearing shoes for some months, my feet have spread and so the shoes didn't fit. What a shame. I returned them - passing my degree in mobile and GPO technology to get the label printed at the post offce - and off they went. Gabor wrote to me three days later to let me know they had received the shoes, and my account was credited the following day. Ace service.”
