“I like the wide selection of shoes and boots, which are always comfortable. However, as a European client I am not happy to order online because of the cost of exchanging shoes when a different size or width is required in any particular style. There is the original deliverty charge of 8€, plus the cost of returning the wrong sized shoes to a UK address- latest cost for this was €18. I lthen had to re-order the correct size shoe and incurred another €8 delivery charge. Consequently, this website does not work for overseas clients.”

“I had to return the shoes as they fid not fit. Royal Mail lost the package. The service from Charles Clinkard was amazing”

Thank you for your review. Your feedback is appreciated as this will help inform future customers, however I am sorry that this style did not fit as required for you. Other reviews for the Gabor Piquet indicate that the fitting does come up slightly narrow, rather than being true to size, which may be why you had a similar issue. “I am indebted to a lady called Hannah. I spoke to Hannah (who remained very calm, although I was clearly panicking!) on the day of delivery of my shoes, after I had suddenly realised they were going to the wrong address. Hannah re-arranged delivery to the correct address. I honestly didn't think it was going to work out, but it did and I received the shoes, as promised! Well done, Hannah, excellent customer service. Many thanks.”

“I love Gabor boots. The quality is excellent and they have small sizes that fit my shoe size US 4. I have purchased 7 boots over the past few years and love all of them. The leather is high quality and they have small styles ar chi and modern too.”

“I have several pairs of Gabor shoes and boots. They are so comfortable for my wide feet! Only criticism I would make is that the ankle steps could do with being longer. I can only just get them around my ankle, especially when it’s hot.”

“What a relief that you still do shoes rather than the never ending Trainers !! Surely I can't be the only person who wants to wear a comfortable, shoe with a slight block heel. It looks better, you don't have to worry if the laces come undone (because they don't) - it has a casual yet smart appearance and can be worn for any occasion - even a funeral - surely you don't wear trainers for that - or do you now ? anyway keep on making petunia shoes”
