The incorrect shoes were sent from what I ordered and I am yet to receive the correct shoe.

Thank you for your review. We apologise sincerely that the incorrect shoe has been sent out to you. There has been sent to you a pre paid label to return the incorrect item, once the label is active and we can see that the shoes are on the way back to us, we can send out the new pair using an overnight courier. Purchased a pair of trainers that have rubbed my heels. Never have I purchased a pair of trainers that have rubbed my heals. I expect this from some shoes, but not trainers. Contacted customer services who said they cannot offer an exchange or refund as the trainers have been worn. Very disappointing experience for a pair of trainers that cost £115. I have purchased trainers previously from Gabor with no issues. Will take my business elsewhere in future.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. In an effort to avoid such issues, we offer an extensive returns period of 365 days that allows you to try shoes at home to detect problems before wearing outside. Once worn outside, unfortunately, we cannot accept them back. In most cases with continued wear, the material will soften and the skin will become accustomed to the shoes, ensuring future comfort. I am sorry you are not happy with your purchase, if you believe the issue has been caused by a manufacturing fault, you can return them to us for an inspection. I have not yet received the order as DPD keep messing up the delivery it should hopefully arrive in two days this will mean that it has taken 10ams for delivery. I like the shoes but DPD are useless.

Thank you for your review, We apologise sincerely that DPD have not delivered your parcel as yet. The reason seems to be at the beginning that there was no house number so they did not know where to deliver. As this was resolved (thank you) , we would expect them to deliver at the earliest convenience. If you do not have your order by mid week this coming week, please let us know and we will arrange for it to be returned and send out a new order with Royal Mail for you. Going forward, if you prefer Royal Mail, if you let us know any order numbers in the future, we can add a dispatch note to send only with Royal Mail. The shoes are not wide enough and not big enough for a size 9

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you did not find this sandal to be big enough for your requirements. There are some shoes that are available in a larger size, we have to order direct from Gabor in Germany, so if you have a style that you would like us to check for you, please do not hesitate to contact us and we can let you know if we can get hold of them for you. You can contact us on 0330 005 0230 (calls charged at local rate). We would find out what style it is you would like to check and call you back. If the shoe is available and you would like to go ahead, we would take a payment and order from Germany, once it arrives, we would forward the shoes to you. This process usually takes around 2 weeks. Unfortunately I did did receive my order in time. Very disappointing having paid for express delivery. The shoes were returned.

Express Delivery is dispatching an order in 3 working days, Unfortunately we do not count the weekends as working days. Your order was dispatched on the 3rd working day, 29th of July. Very disappointed when I received my white Wisdom trainers. One had clearly been tried on or worn. The laces were discoloured a label had been removed and the sole was dirty. Contacted Gabor, who agreed to pay for return postage. These were expensive shoes, I would have expected better.

Thank you for your review. We apologise sincerely that you were sent out shoes that were not in perfect condition. Shoes may have been tried on within one of our stores, or if a customer has ordered 2 sizes to check for fit, and a pair is returned, then the returned item will go back into sale. However upon return and again at dispatch, the shoes should be quality checked. We have let you down on this occasion and for this I am genuinely sorry for your inconvenience and disappointment. I have yet to receive my shoes. They were to be delivered to my home. As I wouldn't be in at the time of delivery I asked them to be taken to a local collection point and was told they were there for collection,they never reached that point. Only having phoned customer services did I know they were returned to your depot.They advised me they could be delivered to my work place but 3 days later no message about when I should expect to receive them . Normally lovely product but very disappointed with this service.

I bought some of your shoes from Charles Clinkard although actually thought I had bought them from yourselves. They are beautiful to look at but have hurt my feet & rubbed the skin from my two toes. I have reached out to Charles Clinkard but the service is beyond poor. I understand that I have worn them outside only ONCE because I simply can’t wear them again. I am so disappointed.

Thank you for your review. Charles Clinkard shoes have licence to run the Gabor website in the UK as well as their own website. Gabor is a German Company. The Terms and Conditions on both sites advise that if you would like to try the shoes on in the comfort of your home to check for fit, then we are happy for you to wear them to see if they are a comfortable shoe for you. You have up to one year to return shoes to us so long as not worn outside. If shoes however are deemed to be comfortable and you decide that they are a good fit and wear them outside, then we would not accept them back as this is not a manufacturing fault, but a fitting issue. Once your skin heals, if you wear them again around the home and 'wear them in' you may find that they become more comfortable for you as the leather warms and stretches. We are sorry for your disappointment, and do hope that you find that you can wear these lovely shoes in the future. Kind regards, Janice - customer services

I was shocked to discover that the pair of shoes I purchased consisted of two different colours shoes, one for the left foot and another for the right foot, which do not match. This is an unprecedented situation for me, and it is certainly not what I expected when I made my purchase. The mismatched pair is unusable, and it reflects a serious error in your order fulfillment process.

Love the shoes should have been a wide fitting but no wider than the standard fitting I can no longer wear

Many of our customers find that if they need a wider fitting that if they get a half size ;larger, this also gives the extra room within the shoe to make for a comfortable fitting. The extra length is minimal, but the extra area helps a lot. This does not work for everyone, but may be worth a try for you to see if it helps. Kind regards, Janice - customer services

Ordered a handbag, paid express delivery and still didn’t arrive in time for my holiday On returning from holiday the bag had arrived, but was very badly made, the one side was all puckered stitching and lopsided. I am returning the product. Very disappointed as I have numerous shoes and bags from Gabor, my all time favourites, and never had fault until now !!

1st pair of shoes arrived marked. The box & paper looked like it had been retrieved from a bin. Had to take the back to a store. The store were not bothered. Ordered them again the same shoes that were marked arrive.

You received my Tracked return on Saturday 18 May 24. As of today (25 May) I have not had an acknowledgement of the return nor a refund to my account. In fact, no communication other than this review request. The shoes looked lovely but were not a good fit, they were returned to you within 2/3 days of original receipt. Please expedite my return. I had hoped for better.

I loved wearing my shoes very comfortable but Gabor are using perishable soles! On a night out the soles split and came apart. Given they are not cheap I expected more quality in the soles and to get them fixed is very expensive ,why good quality uppers do not match quality soles !! So disapointed

I have purchased for many years, and I have always been happy with them. I paid £75 for the shoes, I ordered a G fitting and received a F fitting. Gabor shoes have always been sturdy, but the shoes Piquet Ballerina, were quite flimsy and did not fit property, very disappointed.

Thank you for your review. The Gabor Piquet are a wide fitting shoe and a G fitting not an F. They are also quite sturdy. I am wondering if we have maybe sent an incorrect item to you? It is unusual for this to happen, but if someone has put shoes in the incorrect box, it could happen. Lovely trainers but a very small size. Found it almost impossible to get my foot in to the trainer even with a shoe horn.

Well I am asked to make a review when I ahve not actually had the goods. I ahve had a picture of my next door neighbours house and said the shoes were left here. No neighbours know anything about them. I ahve e mailed Charles Clinkards and they ahve not even returned my enquiry. Your parcel has been delivered to your neighbour at 29, and received by MOORE at 13:58 on Wed 06 Mar 2024
