“Purchased a freezer for my home bar, it did say commercial but was way noisier than anticipated. FFD did change it but -40% handling fee.”

“Overall we found FFD a very responsive supplier. There were problems with the delivered commercial fridge unit we purchased in that extra shelves were ordered but the shelf rails did not come and were eventually delivered at an extra cost. Also on delivery, the unit was not holding temperature and an engineer was arranged to fix the problem. This was duly carried out. However, the customer service from FFD in sorting these problems was first rate. Its pity the problems rose but the response was good and the issues were sorted. Overall 7/10”

“Very good fridge,let down by poor delivery,I offered to collect with my own van as we were desperate for the fridge,permission was denied.In these difficult times we should be helping each other!”

With regards to delivery, while some manufacturers do allow pick up of equipment others have a strict 'delivery only' policy and do not allow customers on site. Unfortunately the fridge that you ordered was from a company that does not allow access to customers and as we do not hold this product in stock we were unable to arrange for you to collect in your own vehicle. We hope this helps to explain the situation and should you need anything in the future please get in touch and we'd love to help.

“The freezer and fridge are nice but they only do partly warranty if you want full you have to pay. I find that is a bit unacceptable.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We aim to give our customers as much choice as possible and so advertise some of products with a parts only warranty. We find that this gives customers the opportunity to keep costs down when they have access to their own engineers and a full parts & labour isn't required. The price we charge for a full warranty is the same as you would find the product available for with other suppliers offering the same level of cover. “On the whole a good service. From my point of view door step delivery is always a problem. Delivery times can be vague so having people around to get the equipment inside is not always possible, and you really don’t want brand new electrical equipment left out in the rain”

Unfortunately kerbside delivery to the nearest access point is an industry standard procedure however we appreciate that this can be inconvenient in some circumstances.
