“Overall a fantasic bookkeeping/financial control package. Does more than coudl have hoped as a new business. Links with Bank and HMRC to handle live banking reconclliation and tax returns. Very happy. Only minor missing feature I have come across to date is a feature to create/track "Purchase orders".”

“As a non-finance person I’m learning on the job. FreeAgent is pretty good but sometimes there a lack of information about how to do something. Ie instructions for paying dividends.”

“An excellent accounting system. I've never used this kind of thing before, and I've found the transition extremely straightforward and clear. The help and how-to articles are simple to follow and have really helped with any areas that have presented hurdles. On the odd occasion I've needed to contact support, I've found them to be quick, friendly and super-helpful. If I have any slight issues, it's that the images in the help items are greyed, and can't be enlarged; this makes it a little difficult to see the detail in them. The other issue is that a Year End other than April seems to cause issues with the reporting end of the software, but I'm assured this is being looked at.”

“Good product which is very clear on its target market- micro-businesses. It's flexible for most situations and although missing some of the sophisticated 'back office' stuff that comes with Sage, for most businesses, this isn't a problem. Customer services is very good with an emailed response within an hour during business hours.”

“I love FreeAgent, I’ve been using it for a few years now. It’s great value for money and does its job :-) My only criticisms are you can’t divide a purchase order into different spending categories and as a partnership, there is no facility to file year end online.”
