“This may be the best organisation I have ever used. I'm absolutely delighted. There may be problems with customs with private cargo companies. I think it will be much better if there are state mail facilities such as Royal mail.”

“Parfait , j'ai effectué une commande sur un site qui ne livrait pas en France et grâce à Forwardvia j'ai pu recevoir mon colis . C'était très rapide et leur service client est très réactif , j'avais une question à leur poser avant d'effectuer ma commande et ils m'ont répondu en moins de 24h . Je recommande sans hésiter à ceux qui recherche de genre de service de faire appel à eux .”

“Convenient service to buy items that are not available or cannot ship to my country. Notification on package arrival is also very fast, sometimes preceding the tracking notification from courier. Quick and clear response by Customer Service adding confidence to use the service. ForwardVia is definately a service worth keeping.”

“Deceptive business practices. Excessive forwarding shipping costs (3 times the value of the item) and not visible until the item had been delivered to forwardvia. Item was a Xmas gift and arrived at Forwardvia with only a few days to go before Christmas which meant I had no alternative options if I wanted the item to arrive in time. I feel forwardvia used this to their advantage. Would definitely not use again and wouldn’t recommend . Beware.”

Thank you for taking the time to review our services, however, we're sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the price paid. We do not agree with your comment about us being deceptive. The shipping cost as shown depends purely on the weight, dimension, and shipping destination regardless of the item value (which is an industry-standard) or the time of year the shipment takes place. Whether you order shipping a few days, weeks or months before Christmas, it makes no difference. Our rates are publicly available on our shipping calculator to enable visitors to check and compare prices. This helps shoppers to decide whether it is worth shipping or check if it is within their budget. Unfortunately, it is not possible to know what you, our customer ordered, and the size of it, as we have no visibility of the order between you and the store/seller. Once it reaches our warehouse, we measure the weight and dimension of the package sent to us by the store/seller. Shipping fees are calculated on the amount of space that your shipment occupies in transit rather than the actual weight, this is called the volumetric weight. The actual weight would only be charged when this was higher than the volumetric weight. We believe we offer the most competitive shipping rates, compared to other UK forwarders. Some forwarders charge lower shipping rates, but then some charge subscription fees, shorter free storage periods, package receiving fees, mail out, and other charges. Including other charges, the total cost can be higher. Feel free to check the shipping and service rates of some other well-known UK forwarding companies. We are sorry to hear that you find the shipping rates are higher than expected. ForwardVia is a service provider and is unable to compete with some retailers who cover their actual costs on the sale of the product. If you have previously shipped directly with a retailer shipping is often provided at cost or sometimes at a loss to entice you to purchase goods from them. ForwardVia only offers shipping services, not the sale of products. The price paid to ForwardVia includes the use of the address, the acceptance, processing, storing, and preparation of your goods for international transit including any export paperwork required. We also offer full customer support for all tracked shipments until delivery. I hope this information helps explain how shipping fees are charged. “An excellent service. The goods always arrive well packed. I have a slight grumble about the cost of 'consolidation'. I often buy lots of small items to be put into one box and this adds a lot to the overall price - especially when Amazon sends an order in two or three separate consignments. There should be a set fee for this.”

In regards to our consolidation service, it is a fixed fee to cover the cost of the packing materials, cartons, and labour. Unfortunately, we don't have control over how retailers process and dispatch orders, items can be split and shipped separately depending on stock levels and where the seller's fulfillment centers are located. We log packages as received and every separate package is treated individually. “Needed a remote for my Cambridge audio- hard to find and expensive in Australia, thanks to forward via , I was able to purchase and have shipped (which only took about 10 days). Remote works great! Will use again and recommend 🌈”
