Item was very good, however , arrived home to find the parcel left by my front door by Yodel. Therefore will not use again

We looked into your order and can see n the geo-tracking that the driver left the parcel in the front porch due to no one being home at the time of delivery (Feb 20th 10:49). This is often common-practice with various couriers who will try to leave the parcel in a safe place so it can be received by the recipient when intended. We completely sympathise if you felt this was not safe and therefore refunded your postage. The funds should be reflected in your Paypal account within 24 hours. Not a pleasant experience as the image is very dimmed almost not usable. Besides, the gift wrapper is too simple for a gift. Though, I like the fact that the delivery was fast.

Placed an order last week due to the fact that it said delivery 4-7 days. Delivery still not here. First time I've used Firebox so I'm obviously disappointed so far and not sure if I'd use again due to this 😕

Firebox is great for having unique gift ideas however, I’ve had issues on multiple occasions where items have arrived broken. Getting them exchanged has taken a long time and has in the past, the exchanges item also came broken! On the last occasion I ordered a plant pot over a month before Christmas. I had no delivery information and when it did arrive it was chipped. As it was a Christmas gift that previously sold out the year before I was really disappointed but ordered an exchange As I had enough time, even sending proof of postage for the broken item to have a replacement sent out sooner. It was never sent out and the item was sold out again so I had to scramble to come up with a new idea For a gift with only days to spare and It didn’t compare to the original idea. Another gift came with a foreign adapter though that info wasn’t specified in the description. I don’t think I’ll be using Firebox again which is a shame as the gift ideas are always very cool at the holidays.

My order did not arrive in the delivery date range specified at time of order, so it arrived too late for the event I’d ordered it for. No Online delivery status check was available other than that my order had shipped, so it wasn’t clear that the package would be delayed. Very disappointed and do not plan to order from Firebox again in the future.

We have taken a look into your order and can see it was sent out on Dec 9th using International Airmail Untracked. Due to your chosen delivery method, there is no way to locate the whereabout of the parcel or provide any information about the progress after it leaves our warehouse. Additionally, since you checked out as a guest there wouldn't have been any further information should your package have been tracked. This feature is only available through orders made with an account and with tracked deliveries. We reached out to you directly on Feb 3rd in regard to your order, we wanted to see if there was anything else we could to to help and make it up to you for the inconvenience. However, we have not heard from you. The gift wrap option is absolutely abysmal. The product itself was okay, but the fact that the gift wrap is roughly 3 pounds, arrived damaged, and looked nothing like what was advertised, is frankly, shameful.

I ordered a mystery box for my nephew for Christmas. I searched firebox website for suitable gifts for teenage boys up to 16 and this was recommended. The box contained an item which I don’t think was suitable CBD Xmas pudding.

Two of my items did not arrive. When trying to contact the help desk it was difficult to get a response (although I tried different methods). I finally got a refund a month after ordering. More concerning is the personalized items were believed to be delivered by firebox so now I don't know who has 2 voo doo dolls with our friends faces on!

I really like the products offered but the packaging was horrible. None of my items were tightly packaged and when my box got to me, it was almost about to break. I purchased a small lamp and the box was broken and damaged. I paid $20 for fast shipping and thought that the company would put more time and effort in packaging their items. Not too happy about this experience as I have purchased from Firebox before and this has never happened before. Please fix your packaging.

My purchase was thrown onto a roof by yodel and left to get soaked by the rain and thus was defective. Whilst Firebox refunded me the item I felt there was more they could do especially as there was no replacement item to be had. All very poor over Christmas.

Latest product was took over a month to deliver. Seeing as I only like in ROI I find this quite ridiculous. The holiday season probably impacted this so to a certain point I accepted this. However not receiving updates and not warning customers of this wait was frustrating as I could not be sure it was a lost package or slow service.

We've taken a look into your order and can see it was dispatched on Nov 6th using International Airmail Untracked, these usually take up to 10 working days meaning that your parcel was due to arrive by No 20th. In the rare case there are any delays, we do ask you to wait a further 10 working days to allow some time for the parcel to arrive (they can sometimes be held up in customs) before considering it lost in post. The parcel should have been received by 4th Dec at the very latest. We contacted you on Jan 14th in regard to this order asking you to confirm whether you had received this parcel and have not heard from you since. Should you still have issues with this order, don't hesitate to get in touch at your earliest convenience. We're more than happy to help in any way we can. Kindest regards, Firebox

Relatively quick delivery but one of my items was smashed so is no good to give as a gift, as i intended. I don't know how anyone manages to contact Firebox. I've tried emailing several times, contacting direct through their website, and tried Whatsapp. I get nothing but an automated response. There's someone merrily posting on their own Facebook page every day advertising their products but yet they can't respond to queries. Not impressed really.

The mystery gifts are ok as a token novelty present but for what’s inside they are certainly not worth the £20 price tag
