“Actual dealings with the company and their website was good. However they use Yodel who were only just better than useless in their delivery.”

“The pigeon mask is great but oh the terrible smell from the plastic of which it is made. It pervades everything and totally corrupts my nostrils. Will only be able to wear it for a few minutes over Christmas. Have you tried it ?.”

“Order arrived very promptly and as described. Packaging only niggle - large box plus layers of bubble wrap to post two bars of chocolate! Otherwise good.”

“Word Search cussions. Good Idea, good quality. Very pleased. Pitty it has to be on just white fabric but then the letters show up best. Would have liked a list of words to search for on the back of the cussion but appart from that very cool present.”

“As a first time customer, I found the website extremely easy to use. An e-mail sent to me confirmed the goods were in transit and they arrived within a few days. [I wish all companies were as efficient] The goods were exactly as described and illustrated. My only minor complaint was that on one of the items that is intended for a present to a child, the label was missing.”

“Overall, very pleased with everything I bought. However, one item was charged at the wrong price and then it turned out to be out of stock anyway so ended up with a refund for that. It was something I really wanted so was disappointed.”

“I love the difference Firebox provides. I just have one issue! Items should have individual stock numbers so there is no danger of getting the wrong item - as I did! When ordering, make sure you describe the item in full detail. Apart from that small issue, I am more than happy with Firebox. Goods arrived quickly, in good order and I was also given a ChuppaChup lolly for nothing. Thanks Firebox, you are GREAT”

“I ordered a full length Samurai umbrella for my (student) son for Christmas. It is beautifully crapp wrapped, so I cannot comment as to the item itself until Christmas day. If I can decipher my son's "grunt-speak" method of communication, I'm sure it will be pretty cool - I'll let you know. However, I must comment on the "Giant Toblerone" shaped box it came in. This has proved a wonderful toy for my 5 month Labrador puppy "Watson". He spent an afternoon attacking one end until he could get his head in it and then ran it around the garden with his head and fore-legs inside, whilst "killing" each of the small air-bag packings he found inside. Each being individually shredded until dead. Now, if you could source a giant rubber chicken with a honker inside, that would be fantastic. Look on this idea as a new year project?”

“Bought this for my Dad's fiancé for her birthday. She loves her coffee but also happens to have a bit of a sailors mouth so the irony wasn't lost on her. She found the product hilarious and absolutely loves it. Cheers firebox, you bunch of baes. x”

“I brought the Ogon RFID Wallet. It is a lovely sturdy case for credit cards, but it took a bit of time to work out how to open it (so a little guide for idiots like me). As a new customer it was a bit of a mess with delivery. The website asked for the address the card was registered at. Then an option for delivery, unfortunately the website picked up part of my credit card address and part of my preferred delivery address, as a result, it went round and round and couldn't be delivered. Finally it was returned to your office for redelivery. However, very pleased with the product. Would buy another one and would still recommend the website to others as it has some really lovely and unusual products/gift.”
