“In addition to my regular box this year I ordered the Christmas box. There was lots of choices and we had the large duck, pork, pigs in blankets and a piece of topside. The box arrived promptly on the 23rd of December. I am already a fan of the meat boxes and the Christmas cuts were really delicious, fresh , tasty and tender. It makes such a difference getting fresh cuts that tell you when and where they came from. I will definitely be ordering a Christmas box next year and continuing my monthly subscription.”

“I ordered and received a three bird roast, large rib roast, pigs in blankets and stuffing balls. Overall I’d say the order/products received were very good with some excellent and some ok to draw that conclusion. Three Bird Roast: Excellent; cooked exactly to the guidelines and comfortably fed four with lots of left overs too. Great taste throughout. Rib Roast: Utterly superb, the taste was unreal, the fat layer perfect, if I could afford this every week I’d die happy... Worth every penny and more! Pigs in Blankets: Ok, nothing special and not one I’d recommend. By equal measure I wouldn’t suggest these are avoided either. Just a bit underwhelming. Stuffing balls: Not great at all, overly moist and dense; this sadly I would suggest avoiding.”

“Christmas meats were excellent. The restrictions meant a very small celebration so the small turkey crown was just right. It was moist and delicious, easily fed 4 with some left for a boxing Day sandwich. We particularly like the brisket and pork belly for Sunday joints and love the diced mutton.”

“This was the third time I've bought the large chicken and the gammon for Christmas. As before, the quality was outstanding. Goods arrive on time in a sturdy cardboard box which has a second life for storage.”

“Amazing quality from the F&F team. The slow grown chicken we had was beautiful - tender and succulent - never going back to Turkey! We also had the sous-vide pork which was amazing - great flavour, an extravagant addition to Christmas dinner. The game mix was perfect for our game pies - good mixture of different meats and sizable enough to recognise which was which”

“We received a Christmas order from Field and Flower, and were very impressed. Delivery was on time and there were no missing items (in contrast to many other retailers I heard about), and everything was well packaged. We had a turkey breast joint, and a hamper of other goodies including cooked ham, and cheeses. The turkey was very fresh, absolutely delicious and enjoyed by everyone. All the other items were also of excellent quality and well enjoyed. We will be ordering meat through the year; and again next festive season Thank you.”

“I got the large Christmas hamper and it was amazing! The turkey was the nicest we’ve ever tasted, so tender! The hams, pigs in blankets, smoked salmon, the cheeses (the list goes on!) were all of the highest quality and made for a stress free Christmas feast! “The three bird roast was really excellent. It had a lovely flavour. The ham was very tasty, but the fat did not melt in the mouth, which was a bit of a disappointment but probably saved a few inches on the hips.”

“The fish delivered is just excellent! We had a few orders and all were very quality. With the meat orders, it’s been good but we had a 3 issues with the rumps steaks. One came with very large fat and we received a kind refund from Field & Flowers. Then the last 2 orders of rumps were very tough meat cut, to the point of being difficult to eat. Apart from the rump, it is overall a very good and fresh meat and fish online. One of my favourites!”

“I buy from F&F because of their animal welfare standards. The food is reliably good - we have a regular order which includes bavette steak as good as you'd find in a French bistrot, confit duck (quite different to the tinned variety), sausages - but the key point (for us) is the welfare. We eat less meat than we used to, but - insofaras it is possible - it's less cruel.”
