About F.Hinds:

Independent and family-run, right from the start.

Ever since George Henry Hinds opened our first store in 1856, we’ve built our reputation on family values.

Now run by the sixth generation of Hinds members, we have over 1,000 incredible staff across 118 stores and our Uxbridge HQ. They may not all share the Hinds name, but they’re all part of the family. And that family feel is what makes the service we offer you so personal.

From diamonds to gemstones, gold to silver, watches to clocks and gifts to collectibles – we’ve been offering high-quality jewellery at affordable prices for nearly 170 years.

“Called into the shop today looking for a christening gift. I already had an idea of what I wanted and the sales assistant showed me a variety of options available. She was very helpful with helping me decide which silver chain would be best to go with the letter charm I had chosen.”

“The two Dartford female assistants were very welcoming, friendly and so helpful. I was surprised when one offered to fit my new watch battery while I wait, and she returned a minute later, well done! Just the sort of old-fashioned efficient service that so many other organisations could do well to copy these days! Many thanks to you both!”
