Nice jewellery, but the picture shown does not give a good scale. It is actually, very small. We took it back the next day and I bought my wife some earrings and a necklace she found more acceptable. Hinds need to upgrade the picture of each item and give better value with multiple images, as I would not have bought it for £150.00 if I had known the true size.

Ordered in plenty of time to get the ring for my wife's 60th birthday which was on the 25th of January it never arrived at the store spoke to a man there that said he would sort it and call us he never did another sales person said she would sort it and said it would be Friday 3rd of February a week late then we got an email to say it was ready to collect, in Blackpool, not merry Hill where it was supposed to be. finally got it today sat 4th February. No communication absolute disgrace. Never use the same again.

Went for my daughters ears piercing. Long story short ,she had a meltdown and wouldn't have it done .the assistant was very patient but had to give us earrings in a box instead of daughters ears ! I should have asked for after care solution to take home as it was in with the price of piercing .the assistant didn't offer it me ,prob because of the drama my daughter had caused so we went away without it .

Took over a month to get the items as was a delay had to keep calling the store for updates. One item arrived and the other didnt and then was not told when it did. Too much hassle will go elsewhere next time.

I really wish I picked something else, didnt reflect as I want on my little girls ears; I requested for an exchange with something bigger, but the attendant told me the policy does not permit such. So sad.

Went to pick up my watch and your staff couldn't find it which was quite distressing and caused me a lot of anxiety as it is not cheap and has sentimental value, I feared that my watch was lost or stolen. The staff that couldn't find it showed very little care or urgency that they couldn't find it and didn't seem to understand the gravity of the situation that they couldn't find my watch, told me to come back two days later. However, I decided to go back the next day as I was very anxious and a different employee found my watch straight away and was apologetic and kind. I suggest that employee trains your other employees how to find your customer's belongings and how to treat this type of situation...

The purchase was great but when the salesman keeps telling you you are making the wrong choice it’s a bit disappointing.

I took a ring in Christmas Eve which I purchased but was too big and needed it resized and was told it would be sent off and they would be in touch. I was told it would be delivered on the 29th December 2022 (which it wasn’t) and when it was it was still the same size (too big) and was same size I was told was too big. As a result I took it back to he told they have to send it off again which will take another 2 weeks to be back to he collected.

Ordered a ring before Christmas, which I went to pick up today, only to find it hadn't been made to the correct size. I now have to wait while it is sent back to be altered to the size that was originally ordered. Very disappointed. Would expect when you have ordered a size K ring, this is what you would get!

Unfortunately, the earrings I purchased on 22/12 as a Christmas gift broke on the first attempt to wear them. The response from a lady in the Newbury shop was "I will consult my colleague to see what we can do" which was not satisfactory in the first instance. I was expecting something like "So very sorry about this, we can repair the item, replace it or offer you your money back" but the personal service was lacking. The earrings were replaced to our satisfaction but I expected a better initial response to the breakage of an item.

The lady who helping me with choosing the ring is absolutely pleasant and helpful! So sorry I couldn’t remember your name. I have an issue with my other ring that had white gold re-plated just over a year and I didn’t wear it often but the colour seems fate, talked to manager, she is absolutely not helpful at all. I didn’t asked or expected to get anything for this, but she did give me an impression of bad customer service! She saw the shop is busy and still turn back to customers without offering help! Until one of the staff approached her to get some help. I always get my jewellery from this brunch and service level was always top notch!

I said I was in a rush as I did not want my daughter to see what I had purchased, as my daughter walked into the shop and said hi mum the lady announced that I was purchasing earrings.

Not a great experience. Website not particularly user friendly. Pick up procedure (at store) not really clarified. Staff at the store, generally uninterested - moody and couldn't even smile. Generally quite unhelpful and the whole process took too long. Overall below average

The date on my Tissot watch hadn't been set correctly. It moved forward at 12pm. This is a small point but it is indicative of poor attention to detail.

Wrong size stud was used to pierce, was much to large for a child. The lady obviously mortified that she had used the wrong size stud, removed the piercing and re pierced the lobe using the correct size, not size if this is the correct practice as it was very uncomfortable for my daughter. This was on Friday 16th and still today my daughters ear is angry red & swollen.

Ordered a watch online for a special birthday of a dear friend. Wrong watch was delivered to the store when I went to collect which was disappointing because it took forever to track down this model of watch. Was informed the correct one will be re delivered within the week in time for the birthday but it didn't happen. The good thing was I recieved a refund with no hassle.

Had a £120.00 worth of vouchers to spend on my wife but check out woman said I only had £70.00. Had to prove my purchase through bank which proved I was correct. Check out woman re-checked vouchers and apologised. Embarrassing! My wife got her watch & Necklace in the end. Not sure u would promote Hinds to family & friends. Frenchgate Centre shop at approx 1415 on 12th December for checking.

I have purchased 2 pieces of jewellery for my wife from F.Hinds. A gold necklace and a bracelet. Both have broken within a year! The necklace broke twice, and had to pay for the repair the second time, the bracelet was thankfully insured. Just received that back today, a brand new one! Overall do not think I would rush back to purchase from you again! Not great quality in my opinion.
