Bought an Opinel no.8 folding knife, also used the personalised engraving option for my friends gift…a nice touch. They ABSOLUTELY LOVED it!! The item was ordered on a Friday and I received delivery on Sunday, which was unexpected. Five star service and quick delivery, I will definitely use them again.

Overwhelmed at the quality of the product I ordered. Oustanding value for money and next day delivery in mid-December, something which other retailers failed to do. Overall I'm really impressed with this company and will recommend not only to my friends and family, but also to my clients (I'm an interior designer).

The product and ordering process were both excellent but the service is undermined by the awful Royal Mail delivery service. 2 failed deliveries and the actual delivery outside of the time slot. Exactly what I have come to expect from RM but still very frustrating when you need to stay in to accept the delivery. Strongly recommend you change delivery partner.

Absolutely brilliant. Delivery was excellent and within 24hrs. The quality of the watch is stunning. Beautiful piece and an excellent price. Customer service was excellent aswell. Would definitely recommend , and will be purchasing again in the future.

I ordered a pewter hip flask on 17th December 2024. It was to be engraved with a name and sent via paid carrier. The tankard arrived and was exactly as described (and lovely quality) but without the engraving, for which I had been charged. I immediately emailed Farrer & Tanner to ask what to do. No response, no acknowledgement. I sent a follow-up email the next day including their sales email in cc. No response, no acknowledgement. I sent a final desperate email the next day. No response, no acknowledgement. I gave the plain hip flask as a present anyway - much appreciated. Quality and delivery - 100% Customer care - non existent. Ian Harwood
