“Excellent service from Farrar and Tanner. Needed a 50th birthday gift for my brother who has recently retired from out British army. A lovely bottle of Regimental port in an engraved gift box was perfect. I paid for express delivery and it arrived within 48 hours.”

“This is made of printed veneer, not hand crafted walnut. It looks smart if your eyesight isn’t too hot. It’s a lovely chess board but not worth the money.”

“The product I ordered is fine. The only let down, is when I purchased the btl of wine, I was supposed to be given the option to engrave the wooden box, however the system took me straight to payment. Immediately after the order went through I emailed customer service to request the engraving as it was a special occasion, to be told the item was already shipped. Due to the experience unfortunately, won't be using again”

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the missed engraving option. The "add engraving option" is available on the product page, but it seems this was missed during the ordering process. “Firstly I haven’t had a great customer journey, but this is due to Parcelforce messing about with my delivery and not anything to do with the service provided by the Outdoor Group. Sue from customer service team was very prompt with my emails and did everything she could to help resolve the issues with Parcelforce. She was fantastic and made me feel that she really cared about the inconvenience I had. I will definitely use them again, but wouldn’t choose to use Parcelforce again.”

“The Barbour Wax Leather Tarras product was of good quality and should have a long life. The price was completive especial with the introductory first order discount. Delivery was a little longer than expected but the Tarras was protected without excessive packaging. As with many online stores, the notification that the order is complete and dispatched is in advance of the courier (postal service) receiving the parcel. This results in the delivery taking longer than expected.”
