“Excellent products, with excellent customer service. I was contacted by phone in relation to engraving as there was an issue with the shape of the decanter. Resolved over the phone and the items arrived a day earlier than expected, well packaged and in time for the anniversary. Would recommend and use again”

“Required an ‘oyster’ knife for work, Farrar & Tanner had a competitive price, discount for first purchase and thought while it was offered and throngs can go missing in a professional kitchen, I’d opt for the engraving. Service was superior, delivery was lightning fast and signed for, the knife is exceptional and the engraving faultless. I’d highly recommend this company, consummate professionals 👨‍🍳 👌”

“I bought a pair of Dents leather driving gloves for my brother for his 70th birthday from Farrar & Tanner. I was really pleased with their service and ease of ordering and I received them before the stated date which was really good. The gloves were exactly as advertised and shown in the illustration. Beautiful soft leather and really soft inside, beautiful quality, they really looked the part. Needless to say my brother was really pleased with them. Thank you Farrar & Tanner, I would definitely deal with you again.”

“I bought the short perennial spade for my Mum, though I secretly wanted one for myself. It is a sturdy, traditionally made tool that suggests many years of service, with all wooden T-bar handle (dowel jointed) and heavy forged steel single-piece spade head -very impressive. She loves it and I can see why. F&T delivery was very quick and packaging was almost entirely in bio-degradable heavy brown paper, even down to a form of concertinered paper 'bubble-wrap' I've not seen before. Almost too good to compost!”

“The change and engraving of the gift box was very nice, however, I did have to screw the clasp back on as one screww had come out and the other was loose. They offered for me to return the item but I didn't have time as it was a gift.”

“The board that arrived was beautiful and the delivery to NI went smoothly, though you can't use the fastest delivery service to NI (trying to caused the payment page to hang for an unknown reason until I read the terms of delivery and tried the payment page again using a different delivery option). I ordered the large board of 55mm squares as I have an isle of Lewis chess set and the king is 48mm wide. When the board arrived I was surprised the King just fitted. Turns out the board squares are only 50mm and not the advertised 55mm squares. It was a typo mistake on the website after I enquired if I had been sent the right board or not. So between an unclear payment error and misadvertised board size it wasn't exactly a perfect service but the board arrived in perfect condition, is beautiful and good value for money. I was offered chance to return the board but I like it and can accept the Kings cosy fit in the 50mm squares. I would be happy to recommend people use this company and I would have no problem ordering from them again.”
