“Lovely set looks really luxurious and at a good price. These were a gift for my husbands birthday, upon opening it he immediately noticed the imperfections on them as shown. They are tarnished at the tips. Disappointing that a present for my husband wasn’t perfect.”

copy of response on previous review: So sorry Lauren, this must have been missed by the manufacturer's quality control - we will spot check items if we are engraving them but tend not to do this if we don't need to open the item for any reason. If you would be able to send some photographs to us at sales@farrar-tanner.co.uk, we will go back to the manufacturer with the feedback and replace your knives for you. Best wishes, Jude

“I ordered and was initially concerned however the emails had just gone to my junk. The order process was flawless and the delivery was made in less than 2 days. Which was brilliant the shipping packaging was brilliant well protected and also well presented in the gift box aswell! 10/10 would deffo use again and highly recommend.”

“Purchased leather wash bag for my husbands birthday. Had hus ne engraved on it He loved it !! Well made with lots of compartments and having his name on it gave it that extra special touch . Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a special gift for family and friends”

“I have purchased two backgammon sets from Farrar & Tanner. Both were beautiful items and were received in good time after the order was placed. We had a small concern, but the customer service was top notch and the problem was sorted out rapidly. I would highly recommend this retailer, particularly if you are looking to buy a good quality backgammon set. They had an extensive range of varying prices to choose from.
