I have given two stars because from past purchases I know the products to be of good quality however, you took £102.99 from my account for an easy carve turkey plus delivery on the 22nd Dec. The turkey never arrived. We spoke to Simon at Customer Services who informed us that DPD had put a message up on his screen relating to our purchase saying that the package had been damaged and they would not be delivering our turkey. Simon assured us that we would receive a full refund on the 27th December into the account which had paid out the £102.99 to you. It is now heading for midnight on that date and no such refund has been received. Whilst the non-receipt of our turkey may not be directly your fault, your use of DPD, one of the worst couriers in our experience, is not impressive. Furthermore your failure to ensure delivery together with no refund is a breach of contract. I shall not be ordering from you again. Should a refund of £102.99 not be received into my account by the 28th December I shall be taking the matter further.

Meat was good but the duxelle let it down badly. Bit of a funny taste to it. I’ve had a lot of beef wellingtons and cooked quite a few myself but bought this to save any hassle. I should have just got a fillet, or made a wellington myself. I tried the red wine sauce but wasn’t impressed with that either. The beef dripping potatoes were pretty good though. All in all, it was a let down. My missus was disappointed as well.

V disappointed. After several years of lovely products from Farmison, this year’s roast was tough and fatty and had a strange taste despite being cooked exactly to instructions . No one wanted any- wound up throwing most of it out.

Not as good as hoped for considering price. Meat packed out at each end with lots of claggy pastry to make it look bigger. Cooked exactly as downloaded instructions but pastry still raw & core temp already 56*c after 26 min. By time pasty in finished state meat was very well done. Disappointing.

The he order received was completely wrong on Christmas Eve which left me running about trying to source food for Christmas dinner. Customer service was fine and advised money would be reimbursed however this takes time. Given the date of the delivery no other order could be arranged.

Tough, fatty, Christmas ham. Supermarket ones are cheaper and better. Also a crazy amount of promotional emails. 20 over the course of a week.

I cooked my beef from my first order yesterday. I have to say I was very disappointed for such an expensive piece of meat (32day rolled rib of beef, cost over £90) Joint looked ok from outside but on testing with thermometer cooked very unevenly and this was reflected when carving. Some medium rare, other parts over cooked and huge piece of gristle in centre. Felt very much like different meats put together. This was a special early Christmas meal and I was pretty gutted having spent the day preparing a lovely meal that the end result was not what I had hoped. Meat was cooked as per the website instruction. Received a generic response from Farmison offering £20 credit on another order but wouldn’t trust them to provide a decent piece of meat again for that price.

The hot dogs tasted nothing like any we have had in the past, and had very tough skins: unusually disappointing for Farmison. They need more natural flavouring.

Unfortunately I only received 2 of the 3 T-bone steaks I ordered and the weekend dinner fell a bit short on quantity as a result. The tenderloin section of the steak was very small on both cuts. I was offered a replacement the following week but I accepted the refund instead. This is the only time I haven’t received the full order to be fair and the quality is generally very good so I will continue to recommend your company

I have to be honest .. on offer it’s good, but not at full price. First of all it was sent to an entirely different building that we didn’t get for over 24 hours. The meals were good but never at RRP… and for two people! Not on your life. The steak was nice but again when you consider the actual price. Number doesn’t connect to the company and had no real help with the fact it was missing for over a day from neither Farmison or DPD. I wouldn’t order again unless the offers were excellent

Was initially glad they were back as have ordered previously regularly but prices have gone up too much. … always good value before .am sure meat is still excellent but I am put off by the price hikes in comparison to another excellent supplier I have found in the interim. A shame

Far too expensive for what you actually receive. The customer care team are pretty poor. Only really want to give you discount vouchers for future purchases from them, not a refund. Seems once they have your hard earned money, theres little or no chance of getting your £ back

Sou vide beef joint was roasted to 56 degrees using thermometer but the result was a good looking but tough eat. A pricey and very disappointing meal.

Will not use again. I ordered a specific product and rather than give me the option of changing when not available, they just substituted for something I did not want and still charged me the full amount. They emailed me the night before when it was too late to do anything about it and ignored my email saying please don't send.

Specifically requested my order (2 heavy boxes) be left at my back door. What did the delivery driver do? Dumped delivery on my front door step for all the sundry to see, not least I had to kick the boxes to move them as they were too heavy to lift. Well done Farmison.

Ordered topside beef, picnic ham and some hotdogs, but when delivered the beef was missing. A WhatsApp took a couple of hours for a reply and revealed that there was a "stocking issue" (is that code for "we forgot" or theyd run out?). Cooked the beef on Sunday and it was very very subpar, pretty tasteless and not a great texture. Our dog seemed happy though 🤣 In fairness, other items I've ordered have been top notch, and will probably order again... just not their beef.

I have in fact already sent you an email via your online form, and was disappointed not to have yet received a reply. My email told you that we were very disappointed in our New Year's Eve Beef Wellington. The steak was not nearly as tender as it should have been. I have rarely bought fillet steak (and did take advantage of the special offer) and expected it to be as 'melt in the mouth' tender as when I have, very rarely, eaten fillet steak in a restaurant. This was especially important as my husband now has problems with anything chewy. I cooked it exactly as directed, but it was not succulent, and as I said, relatively tough. We have yet to try the 2 rolled pork shoulders bought before Christmas and in the freezer. I hope we will be more satisfied with these. I look forward to hearing from you.

i ordered the porcetta and the 60 day dry aged beef sirloin chop for christmas and new years eve. The beef arrived and it was a joint instead of a chop which wasn't what i expected and there wasn't a disclaimer for it. I asked customer service how to cook it and they sent me the link to the sirloin chop recipe which wasn't very helpful. The beef was slowly turning grey in our fridge while it was still in the packaging a few days before the expiry date. I have messaged customer service and sent pictures of the product. There was a lot of image back and forth and now they have gone silent with no resolution and no response. i had to dispose of the expensive meat i had pre ordered months ago for new years eve as it was extremely grey and the smell was off. it was a shame really as i usually treat myself to orders from farmison but might have to hold back due to this recent experience
